  Verfahren zur Darstellung     einet        Carboxyamidobenzol-o-thioglykolsäure.       Gegenstand dieses Patentes ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung der     4-Äthoxybenzol-          1-carboxyamido-2-thioglykolsäure,    welches da  durch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man auf die       4-Äthoxy-    1 -     cyanbenzol    - 2 -     thioglykolsäure     saure     Verseifungsmittel    einwirken lässt.  



  <I>Beispiele</I>  1. 223 Gewichtsteile     4-Äthoxy-1-cyan-          benzol-2-thioglykolsäure,    die man beispiels  weise erhält, wenn man vom     p-Phenetidin     ausgehend nach den     Schweizer-Patentschriften     Nr. 77187     und.    92588 arbeitet, werden mit       1100        Gewichtsteilen        Schwefelsäure        90        %ig     zusammengebracht und 10 Minuten auf<B>900</B>  erwärmt. Man giesst auf Eis und saugt den  erhaltenen Niederschlag von     4-Äthoxybenzol-          1-carboxyamino-2-thioglykolsäure    nach einiger  Zeit ab.

   Die Verbindung wird durch Lösen  in wässerigem Ammoniak, Aufkochen der  erhaltenen Lösung mit Tierkohle, Filtration  und Fällung mit verdünnter Schwefelsäure    gereinigt. Sie besitzt, aus Eisessig umkristalli  siert, den F. P. 208-210 0. Das Produkt dient  als Zwischenprodukt zur Herstellung von  Farbstoffen.
