Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung von 2 # 6-Dichlor-1 # 3-diinethylbenzol-4-snlfosänre. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von 2. 6-Dichlor- 1. '3 - dimethylbenzol - 4 - :
sulfosäure, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man<B>1.</B> 3-Dimethylben- zol-4-sulfosäure in mineralsaurer Lösung mit einem Chlarierungsmittel in solchen Mengen behandelt, dass die dem Eintritt von 2 Ato men Chlor in das Molekül der SuMosäure entsprechende Menge verbraucht wird.
Die Dichlor - 1. 3 - @dimethylbenzal - 4 - sulfosäure kristallisiert aus Wasser in weissen, glänzen den Blättchen. Ihr Amid schmilzt bei etwa <B>330',</B> wie in den Berichten der deutschen chemischen Gesellschaft, Band 23, ,Seite 2326, beschrieben ist.
Sie sohl als Zwischenpro dukt zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen ver- wendet werden.
Beispiel: 1.45 Teile Chlor werden langsam bei 90 unter Rühren in eine Lösung von 220 Teilen 1.3-Dim-ethylbenzol-4-sulfosäure in<B>1000</B> Teilen Wasser unter Zusatz von 10 Teilen Eisenchlorid -eingeleitet. Dann wird die Lö sung abgekühlt und mit -ungefähr 230 Teilen Natronlauge von 33 % teilweise neutralisiert.
