Description

  

  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 120525.    Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     stiekstofflialtigen        Küpenfarbstoffes    der       Benzanthronreihe.       In dem Hauptpatent Nr. 120525 ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Küpenfarb-          stoffes    beschrieben, bei dem     a-Anthrachirronyl-          amirio        Bzl.Bz1'-benzarithronylsulfid    mit einem  alkalischen Kondensationsmittel, insbesondere  alkoholischem Alkali, behandelt wird.  



  Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines stickstoff  haltigen     Küpenfarbstoffes    der     Benzanthron-          reihe,    bei dem das Kondensationsprodukt  aus     7-Halogen-Bzl-parathiokresylbenzarrthrori     und     1-Aminoanthrachinon    mit alkalischen  Mitteln, insbesondere alkoholischem Alkali;  behandelt wird.  



  Der neue     Farbstoff    gibt mit Natronlauge  und     Hydrosulfit    eine blaue     Küpe,    aus der  die pflanzliche Faser in echten dunkelblauen  Tönen gefärbt wird, die die bemerkenswerte  Eigenschaft besitzen, beim Befeuchten mit  Wasser nicht nach rot umzuschlagen.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  10 Teile des Kondensationsproduktes aus       7-Halogen-Bzl-parathiokresylbenzarrthron    mit       1-Aminoanthrachinon    werden mit 40 Teilen       Kaliumhydroxyd    und 25-30 Teilen Alkohol  so lange bei l70-180  verschmolzen, bis  die     Farbstoffbildurig    beendet ist.

   Nach dem  üblichen Aufarbeiten der Schmelze kann der  erhaltene     Farbstoff        durch    Auskochen mit  hochsiedenden Lösungsmitteln, wie zum Bei  spiel Anilin oder Nitrobenzol, noch gereinigt  werden.

  With caustic soda and hydrosulfite, the new dye gives a blue vat from which the vegetable fibers are dyed in real dark blue tones, which have the remarkable property of not turning red when moistened with water. <I> Example: </I> 10 parts of the condensation product of 7-halogen-Bzl-parathiocresylbenzarrthrone with 1-aminoanthraquinone are fused with 40 parts of potassium hydroxide and 25-30 parts of alcohol at 170-180 until the dye formation has ended.

   After the melt has been worked up in the usual way, the dye obtained can be purified by boiling it with high-boiling solvents, such as, for example, aniline or nitrobenzene.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines stickstoff haltigen Küpenfarbstoffes der Benzanthron- reihe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Kondensationsprodukt aus 7-Halogen-Bz1- parathiokresylbenzanthron und 1-Amino- anthrachinon mit alkalischen Mitteln behan delt.
