Mais les montres construites -d'après ce principe présentent d'habitude le désavan tage d'exiger les deux mains pour pouvoir être ouvertes.
L'objet de la présente invention, destiné à rem4dier à cet inconvénient, est une mon tre où le mouvement est enfermé dans un boîtier renfermé lui-même dans un étui. Cette montre est caractérisée en ce que l'étui est fait en deux parties, :dont l'une au moins peut pivoter sur le boîtier pour découvrir ou cacher le cadran. Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes .d'exécution de l'ob jet de l'invention.
Les fig. 1 et 2 représentent chacune une vue en plan de la première forme d'exécu tion, l'une montrant la montre en position ouverte et l'autre en position fermée; La fig. 3 est une coupe par III-III de fi g. 2; la fig. 4 représente la deuxième forme d'exécution.
Le mouvement 1 est enfermé ,dans un boîtier 2 ayant la forme d'un secteur de cer cle et muni d'un fond amovible 3 et d'un verre 4. Au sommet 5 du secteur 2 sont pi votées les deux moitiés 6 et 7 d'un étui. Sur le pourtour circulaire du secteur -de la pre mière forme d'exécution est prévue une rai nure, également circulaire, 8, dans laquelle sont engagées les deux chevilles 9 portées chacune par l'une -des moitiés 6 et 7 de l'étui. Cette rainure se termine, à chaque bout, par des arrêts 10 contre lesquels vien- nent buter les chevilles 9 lorsque, comme montré en fig. 1, la montre est ouverte.
Pour ouvrir cette .dernière, il suffit de prendre l'une des parties de l'étui dans la main et d'exercer une poussée avec le pouce de la même main sur l'autre partie, qui tourne et qui entraîne avec elle le secteur, de fagon que les trois pièces prennent la po sition montrée en fig. 1.
Dans la deuxième forme d'exécution, le secteur 2 n'est pas pourvu d'une rainure, mais son pourtour circulaire est arrondi et coulisse dans deux guides 12 portés chacun par l'une ,des moitiés 6 et 7 de l'étui. Ce pourtour se termine, à chaque bout, par des arrêts 11 lesquels viennent buter contre les g<B>(Y</B> uides 12 lorsque la boîte est ouverte.
Bien entendu l'invention n'est pas limi tée à ce qui est représenté au dessin, en par- ticulier la montre pourrait avoir une autre forme, elliptique, par exemple.
