Description

  

  Verfahren zum Verbinden von Rohren mittelst Schweissen.    Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Er  gänzung des durch das ,. Hauptpatent ge  schützten Verfahrens zum Verbinden von  Rohren mittelst Schweissen, bei welchem das  eine Rohrende mit einem     Bördelrand,    das  andere mit einer Ausweitung versehen, der       Bördelrand"gegen    die Ausweitung gestossen,  ein frei vorstehender Rand des ausgeweiteten  Rohrendes über den     Bördelrand    umgekantet  und die Verbindungsstelle dicht verschweisst  wird.  



  Das im Hauptpatent erläuterte Verfahren  gestattet keine     Verschwenkung    der Rohre  beim Verlegen der Leitungen was zuweilen  als     bZangelj empfunden    wird.  



  Gemäss der zusätzlichen Erfindung ;sind  die Ausweitung am einen und der     Bördel-          rand    am andern Rohrende nach einer Kugel  fläche     gekrümmt.    und ist genügend Spielraum  vorhanden, um vor dem Verschweissen eine       Verschwenkung    der Rohre zu gestatten.    Die Abbildung     betrifft    ein Ausführungs  beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes und gibt  einen Schnitt durch eine Seite von zwei  Rohrenden wieder, die nach dem Verfahren  gemäss der Erfindung verbunden werden sol  len.

   Der kugelige     Bördelrand    b des einen  Rohrendes liegt bei gerader Verlegung an  der ebenfalls nach einer Kugel gekrümmten  Ausweitung     c    an in der Stellung     a-a,    bei  Schwenkung nach o rückt der     Bördelrand     gegen den Rand der Ausweitung, bei Schwen  kung nach     u    um ein bestimmtes Mass davon  ab. Nach Fixierung der Rohre wird der  überstehende Rand über den     Bördelrand     abgekantet und verschweisst gemäss dem  im Hauptpatent beschriebenen Verfahren.
