Description
Fig. 3 ist ein Grundriss zu Fig. 2.
Artificial Christmas tree. The family Christmas trees known so far consist of a young spruce, which should usually be more than 5 years old in order to be able to present itself as a tree. The procurement of these trees requires the laying down of entire parts of the forest every year, the growth of which takes a lot of time and which could be of great use when fully grown.
This drawback is to be remedied by the subject matter of the present invention. The same applies to an artificial Christmas tree, of which the accompanying drawing shows an example embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows the trunk of the tree in longitudinal section. The same consists of a sheet metal tube which is conical at the top and has the cutouts a at 5 storey heights.
2 shows a portion of the trunk enlarged, with sheet metal rosettes b, which have a central opening c and are provided on the edge with the channel-like depressions d; e is the foot of the trunk. FIG. 3 is a plan view of FIG. 2.
In order to make the artificial Christmas tree ready for use, as many sheet metal rosettes b as are provided on the tree are placed over the trunk a, with the central openings d of the rosettes of course corresponding to the conicity of the trunk. Then the natural or artificial branches are inserted into the opening a, or cutouts, so that they stick with their pointed end parts in the trunk and at the same time lie in the channel-like depressions d, as the example shown shows. The rosettes form the actual supports for the branches, that is, they support the branches on the outside of the trunk.
The artificial trunk can also be solid instead of tubular, and instead of sheet metal, it can also consist of another suitable material, for example wood or cardboard; Likewise, the rosettes can be made of a different material, as sheet metal, for example made of wood or a cast material. The trunk itself can also be provided with supports for the branches and is advantageously painted green with rosettes.
