Lage, also z.

Triangle honeycomb frames for bee clouds.
Almost equilateral triangular honeycomb frames that are not identical to one another and exactly equilateral triangular honeycomb frames made of individual loose insert strips have already become known. The former are constructed in such a way or equipped with such suspension means that they can only ever be suspended in the apiary adapted to them with one and the same triangular tip pointing downwards. The latter only serve as dividing inserts for equilateral hexagonal honeycomb frames in such a way that small triangular partial areas or partial honeycombs are created with the triangle point pointing downwards and those with the triangle point pointing upwards.
Compared to these designs and the usual equilateral Seehseekrähmehen, which can be used in the corresponding apiary with any hexagon point pointing upwards, the honeycomb frame according to the present invention is an exactly or almost equilateral triangular frame with uniform, i.e. H. identical sidebars formed and optionally

Location, so z. B. can be used with any triangle point directed upwards or downwards, d. H. can be set up or hung up.
The honeycomb frame constructed according to the invention not only has considerable dimensional stability or stability inherent in the triangular structure, but also has the further advantages that when the point is suspended or set up with the tip pointing upwards, the brood development begins predominantly from the upper triangle angle for reasons of heat economy and one Favorable downward development is taking place, but in addition a honeycomb frame completely built out with beeswax, as is desired for uncomplaining honey extraction, can be achieved by axially overturning the frame.
For this purpose, after sufficient development of the wax structure, the frame in the hive is simply rotated axially by 600 from a triangular angle, whereupon the bees habitually quickly expand the respective upper second or third angle of the triangular honeycomb. Such a fall can also be used to advantage to bring the less suitable honey in the hive out of the known upwardly extending area of winter food during wintering.
Furthermore, by twisting the honeycomb frames themselves in the hive 0, the entire hive, whose shape is adapted to that of the honeycomb frames, tipping over to the side can be achieved so that the honey-heavy part of the honeycomb comes to lie down when the bees are transported the breakage of the honeycomb is significantly reduced.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the triangular mower according to the invention is shown in front view and side view.
The equilateral triangular frame consists of three unitary side strips 1, which are united at the ends, for. B. are galvanized; the usual end-face pins 2 are used to keep the frames apart from one another at the Eekstellen. On each of these pins, a sheet metal plate 3 is rotatably attached (only one of which is shown in the drawing), which is used to set up and maintain lateral spacing in the beehive. By turning the disks outwards, as shown in dashed lines in the front view, the hook opening 4 or the hook 5 for hanging the frames outside the beehive is free at any point.
