Zentrifugalpumpe.
Centrifugal pump. It is known in centrifugal pumps to surround the impeller with rotating guide vanes and to use the same as closing organs, on the one hand, to make the quick-action slide in the pressure line superfluous and, on the other hand, the start-up resistance BEZW. the power is required by the pump when idling, i.e. to reduce it when the delivery is zero. Rotary blades are not only expensive, but also require a complicated, multi-part drive and a great deal of effort to operate them.
With the present Eiffinding the task of making the quick-action slide to be built into the pressure line, including a non-return valve, and at the same time reducing the idling resistance of the pump, is achieved in a simpler and cheaper way than with rotary blades. The invention consists in that the pump is provided with at least one ring slide that encompasses the impeller and by means of which the impeller can be shut off from the pressure chamber of the pump housing. The ring slide can be arranged axially movable in a side wall of the pump housing.
However, it can also be designed as a rotary valve and thus provided with openings. that the openings by turning the slide in BEZW. jusser rotation can be brought with the mouths of connecting channels that lead from the impeller to the pressure chamber. The impeller to encompassing ring valves have already been used in turbines; but they have a completely different effect there than with Zen trifugal pumps, because turbines stand still when the ring valve is closed, and a reduction in the idle power requirement or. Start-up resistance can therefore be out of the question.
The axially movable slide can be designed in such a way that its end face, which forms the end edge, forms a nozzle-like passage together with the part of the pump housing opposite it, for the purpose of not only closing the slide, but also regulating the pump by changing the diffuser width respectively To be able to use throttling of the liquid passage. The axially movable ring slide is expediently moved back and forth by means of a liquid pressure medium. But it can also be moved by mechanical means.
In the housing part opposite the axial ring slide, on which the closing edge of the slide comes to rest in the closed position, a riüg- shaped recess is advantageously arranged, into which the closing edge can penetrate.
An axially displaceable ring can also be arranged in the recess, which is brought into such a position by resilient organs - when the slide is open, that it cuts off evenly with the housing wall, for the purpose of increasing the flow resistance of the recess To take advantage of the funding.
In pumps with a wide impeller, two ring slides axially movable in opposite directions can be provided in the side walls of the pump housing in such a way that each of them can be moved over about half the width of the impeller outlet.
In the drawing, some Ausfüh approximately examples of the subject invention are shown.
1 is an axial section through a single-stage centrifugal pump without a guide apparatus, FIG. 2 is a partial axial section through a single-stage centrifugal pump with a guide apparatus,
3 shows a partial radial section through a further embodiment of a one-stage centrifugal pump with a guide apparatus, and FIG. 4 shows a partial section through a multistage centrifugal pump.
In the pump housing a with the suction chamber b and the pressure chamber c, the shaft e rotates with the impeller d. Between the impeller and the pressure chamber, an annular slide f encompassing the former is arranged, by means of which the impeller can be shut off from the pressure chamber.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the slide is arranged axially movable in the right housing wall in such a way that it can be pushed from this over the impeller and pressed against the opposite housing wall in a sealing manner.
The closing movement is given to the slide by the conveyor itself, which is let into the annulus i seen behind the slide by opening the valve g through the line h. When the outlet k is opened, the ring slide is pushed back into the open position or any intermediate position by the conveying means located in the working space of the pump) when the cock g is closed. The slide is sealed by the sleeves l.
It is shaped on its left front side in such a way that, together with the opposite housing wall, it forms a nozzle-like passage opening which is favorable for the flow of the conveying means.
When the machine is switched off, the delivery is first interrupted at full speed by closing the slide and then the drive motor is switched off. When restarting, the machine filled with conveyor medium is first brought up to normal number of revolutions and then the slide is opened, whereupon the promotion begins.
The idling moment of resistance that occurs here is' greatly reduced by the ring slide that tightly encloses the impeller so that it is only a small fraction of the drag torque that occurs with full delivery: In addition, the ring slide has the effect of preventing the previously in the Pressure line makes throttle and sonar traction organs superfluous and that it does not require a great deal of force for opening and closing both for forward and backward-flowing conveyors.
The embodiment according to FIG. 2 differs from that according to FIG. 1 mainly in that guide vanes w are also provided behind the ring slide. The effect of the ring slide is exactly the same as in the previous example. In addition, in the right housing wall opposite the slide, an annular recess 7n is provided, into which the closed slide penetrates for the purpose of better sealing.
In order to take away the effect of increasing the flow resistance of the conveying means from the recess, a laterally displaceable ring n is arranged in the same, which is pressed to the left by springs o- so that it is level with the right wall of the diffuser when the slide is in the open position . cuts off.
In the embodiment of FIG. 3, the ring slide is formed as a rotary valve. It is wrapped around a system of connecting channels p leading from the impeller to the pressure chamber and is provided with openings q so that, in the open position of the slide, they coincide with the mouths of the connecting channels and in the closed position come to lie behind webs r between the connection channels are arranged Ver.
Its effect in relation to the idling moment of resistance / the pump is, although it does not directly surround the impeller, the same as that of the slide according to FIGS. 1 and 2, since it almost completely controls the conveying means located in the channels immobilized. In the multi-stage centrifugal pump according to FIG. 4, each individual stage is seen ver with an axially displaceable ring slide.
The slides are connected by Stan gene t, which are passed in the axial direction through the housing, mitein other and their drive is carried out by outside the pump housing is arranged piston u, which is controlled in cylinders v by some pressure medium in a known manner will.
