Affiloir pour lames de rasoirs genre "Gilette". La présente invention a pour but de re médier aux inconvénients des divers appa reils utilisés jusqu'à maintenant et a pour objet un affiloir susceptible d'affiler par faitement et simultanément les deux tran chants d'une lame de rasoir genre "Gillette".
Une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention est représentée, à. titre d'exemple, au dessin annexé, dans lequel: La fig. 1 est une coupe, verticale; La fig. 2 est une vue d'ensemble; La fig. 3 est une des faces latérales; La fig. 4 est le porte-lame oscillant et ses deux flasques porte-tourillons; La. fig. 5 est le pointeau porte-lame; La. fié,. 6 est un des deux rouleaux à biellettes; Les fig. 7 à. 9 se rapportent à une variante de détail de l'appareil.
L'appareil représenté aux fig. 1 à 6 com porte deux flasques 1 et 2, rendus solidaires l'un de l'autre par des entretoises 3 et dans lesquels peuvent tourillonner les axes 4, 5 et 6 des divers rouleaux 7, 10 et 12. Sur le rouleau 7, dont le diamètre est plus grand que celui des rouleaux 10, respectivement 12, s'enroule .la face intérieure 8 munie de pâte abrasive de la lanière de cuir 9.
Contre les rouleaux 10, respectivement 12, vient frotter la. face extérieure 11, vierge de pâte, des deux brins de la lanière 9. Ces brins sont munis à .leur extrémité de poignées de traction, qui facilitent leur mouvement, et qui ne sont pas représentées aux fig. 1 à 3. Le cylindre 7 présente un tel diamètre et est disposé par rapport aux rouleaux 10, 12 dit porte-lame de manière à permettre une grande adhérence du cuir sur ces rouleaux en raison de la forme prise par la lanière.
Les rouleaux 10 portent chacun à .leur ex trémité une vis tourillon 13 servant d'axe de rotation à da tête d'une biellette 14, le pied de chaque bielle étant. relié à un tourillon -15 figé au porte-lame 16. Ce dernier est percé d'une creusure longitudinale permettant l'in troduction du pointeau porte-lame 22 et de fentes longitudinales 20 permettant d'intro duire la lame -à affiler dans le porte-lame. Ce porte-lame tourillonne lui-même dans les flasques 1 et 2; il est muni à ses extrémités de deux flasques 18, respectivement 19, de forme différente qui portent les tourillons 15.
Le flasque 19 présente une fente 20a d'une forme telle qu'il est possible d'intro duire dans cette fente et dans la fente 20 du porte-lame 16 une. lame de rasoir "Gillette" 21 et .le pointeau porte-lame 22 muni de crans 23 de fixation de la ;lame.
Les flasques 1 et 2 sont réunis au-dessus du rouleau 7 comme le montre la fig. 2, et portent l'axe de rotation vertical 24 de deux crochets articulés 25 permettant la fixation facile de tout l'appareil au moment -de l'usage.
Le fonctionnement est le suivant: On suspend l'appareil à un bouton de porte, à un clou, etc, par les crochets 2,5. Pour affiler une lame 21, on .la place sur le pointeau porte-lame 22, faisant péné trer les crans 23 dans les ouvertures qu'elle porte. On introduit le pointeau dans l'ouver ture circulaire 26 du porte-lame 16 en ayant soin de faire passer la lame 21 dans la fente 20a du flasque 19 puis dans la fente 20 du porte-lame 16 jusqu'à l'arrêt.
A ce moment, la. lame est logée à l'intérieur de l'appareil entre les flasques 1, 2, et n'est pas encore en contact avec la face de la lanière 9;; il suffit de tirer alternativement sur l'un ou l'autre ides brins -de la lanière 9, pour que le frottement de sa face 11 sur les rouleaux 10 détermine un mouvement .des biellettes 14 et, par suite, des flasques 1'8, 19 et du porte- lame appliquant énergiquement les tran chants à. affiler sur la face 8 munie de pâte de la lanière 9.
Pour sortir la lame de l'appareil, on opère dans le sens contraire de sa rentrée.
Suivant les fig. 7 à 9 et pour éviter pendant le mouvement de va-et-vient de la lanière @de cuir, que la lame soumise à une forte pression ait tendance à couper ou à dé caper la lanière, on peut prévoir un dispositif qui décolle la lame de dessus le cuir où elle frotte un peu avant l'arrêt de la lanière et de son changement de sens de traction.
Ce dispositif est le suivant: Les flasques 18 et 19 du porte-lame 16 sont prolongés à leur partie basse par deux branches 2.7 dont la longueur est suffisante pour que leur extrémité puisse dépasser la partie basse des flasques 1 et 2 ,de quelques millimètres.
Les branches 27 du flasque 18 sont réu nies aux branches 27 du flasque 19 par des entretoises 29, ce qui assure à ces branches une solidarité et une rigidité plus grandes.
Sur la face non enduite du cuir un peu au-dessus de chacune des poignées p servant à manoeuvrer la. lanière sont fixées des butées 28 qui, l'une .après l'autre, peuvent venir en contact avec les entretoises 29 et par leur forme en coin faire osciller les flasques 18, 19, ce qui .décolle en même temps la lame du cuir.
Il est facile de se rendre compte que dans l'appareil décrit la faee de la lanière de cuir qui porte la couche de pâte abrasive ne frotte contre quoi que ce soit, à l'exception natu rellement des deux tranchants de la lame à affiler et du rouleau 7; les mouvements de va-et-vient de la lanière de cuir se font sans aucun frottement sur ,la face affile-Lise par l'emploi -d'un rouleau mobile, autour duquel elle s'enroule partiellement; le mouvement alternatif à. .droite puis à. gauche du porte- l,a.me est déterminé par de petites bielles mues par le frottement de la face non recouverte de pâte de la lanière de cuir. sur deux petits rouleaux où elles sont fixées.
Par conséquent, le fonctionnement de l'ap pareil ne produit pas l'échauffement de la pâte abrasive et celle-ci reste toujours dure et sèche et, par suite, efficace, et la lame n'en est pas souillée à .sa. sortie de l'appareil; de plus, en raison de l'agencement décrit du rouleau 7 et des divers autres rouleaux, les efforts de traction sur la lanière sont mi nima.
Dans le cas où on jugerait nécessaire une plus grande pression de la lame 21 sur le côté 8 du cuir, on l'obtiendrait facilement en munissant les rouleaux 12 de biellettes convenablement disposées qui ajouteraient leur action à celle des bielles 14.
Il est bien entendu que les formes, détails, matières et dimensions de l'appareil peuvent varier sans nuire à son principe.

The apparatus shown in Figs. 1 to 6 com carries two flanges 1 and 2, made integral with one another by spacers 3 and in which the pins 4, 5 and 6 of the various rollers 7, 10 and 12 can journal. The flanges 1 and 2 are joined together above the roller 7 as shown in fig. 2, and carry the vertical axis of rotation 24 of two articulated hooks 25 allowing easy attachment of the entire apparatus at the time of use.
The operation is as follows: The device is suspended from a door knob, a nail, etc., by hooks 2.5. To sharpen a blade 21, it is placed on the blade holder needle 22, causing the notches 23 to penetrate the openings it carries.
