Description

Stockings with varicose veins. The object of the invention is a knitted valance stocking, characterized in that it comprises a heel knitted so as to form a pocket obtained by increasing the number of stitches and sufficiently warm so that the heel of the foot s 'fits comfortably there, the lower part of the lower leg being on the contrary very narrow to exert the desired pressure.

For the making of this stocking with varicose veins, one will preferably use single cotton yarn and not twisted yarn.

When, after being put in place, it is removed, it resumes by itself the shape given to it by knitting.

The attached drawing is a diagram of the silhouette of the bottom not in place, so as to clearly show the pocket a obtained by increases and located on one side of the line ABC while the kick L formed as in the known stockings, is located on the other side of this line AB C.

The whole leg f from the top not drawn to point A, which exactly corresponds to the ankle bone, is knitted with the usual decreases to obtain the conical shape.

Decreases make it possible to obtain the narrow foot d closed at its end e.

A stocking is thus obtained which, once in place, perfectly matches the shape of the leg and the foot, and has the appearance of an ordinary stocking, while compressing the diseased parts with elasticity; the heel and the end of the foot of this stocking do not in any way bother the wearer.
