Description

  

      Luftpumpe.    .    Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist  eine Luftpumpe, die sich dadurch auszeich  net,     .dass    der Pumpenzylinder mindestens in  einem Teil seiner Länge von einem vom Zy  linder abstehenden Mantel umgeben ist, wo  bei .der zwischen Mantel und Zylinder vor  handene     Hohlraum    mindestens teilweise als       Windkesselhohlraum    dient.  



  In der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist ein  Ausführungsbeispiel des     Erfin.dungsgegen-          gegenstandes    im Längsschnitt     tdargestellt.     



       Im    Pumpenzylinder 1 kann mittelst eines  Handgriffes 2, .der abnehmbar angeordnet  ist, ein Kolben 3 mit Stange 4 hin- und her  bewegt werden. Um den Pumpenzylinder,  von diesem abstehend, ist ein Mantel 5 ange  ordnet, so     dass        zwischen    Pumpenzylinder und  Mantel 5 ein Hohlraum entsteht. In diesem       Hohlraum    ist ein schraubenlinienförmig ge  wundenes Rohr 6 angeordnet, das als Wind  kessel dient. Dieses Rohr 6 steht mit seinem  untern Ende mittelst einer Luftleitung 7,  eines Ventils 8 und einer im Fuss 9 der     Pumpg     angeordneten Luftleitung 10 mit dem un-         tern    Ende des Pumpenzylinders 1 in Verbin  dung.

   Im Deckel 12 des Mantels 5 ist eine       Luftaastrittsöffnung    vorgesehen,     welehe    mit  dem obern Ende des Rohres 6 in     Verbindung     steht.  



  Die     Luftleitung    7 kann nach Abnehmen  eines Verschlusses 14 durch     eine    Leitung<B>13</B>       direkt    mit der     Aussenluft    in Verbindung ge  bracht werden, wobei zwischen den     Leitun,     gen 7 und 13 ein Ventil 15 angeordnet ist.  Diese Zuleitung 13     idient    dazu, den Wind  kessel der Pumpe von irgend einer Druck  luftquelle, zum Beispiel von einem Motor aus,  füllen zu können, ohne     Betätigung    der  Pumpe.     In    diesem Falle verhindert das Ven  til 8 das     Eintreten    von Luft in den Pumpen  zylinder 1.  



  Dias als Windkessel dienende     schrauben-          linienförmige    Rohr 6 bewirkt, dass die in ihm  komprimierte Luft     infolge    des Pumpens  nicht stossartig, sondern     ,gleichmässig    .aus der       Luftaustrittsöffnung    11 austritt, was von  Wichtigkeit ist überall dort, wo ein gleich-           mässiger    Druck notwendig ist, zum Beispiel  für     Farbspritzapparate    und dergleichen.  



       Das        schraubenlinienförmige    Rohr 6 kann  auch fehlen, in welchem Fälle .der ganze  Hohlraum zwischen Pumpenzylinder und  Mantel den     Windkessel    bildet.  



  Die beschriebene Pumpe hat gegenüber  andern bekannten transportablen Pumpen mit  Windkessel     Iden    Vorteil,     dass    .bei ihr Wind  kessel und Pumpe, die sonst .getrennt sind,  in einem Gehäuse     vereinigt    sind. Die direkte  Zuleitung von aussen zum Windkessel .gestat  tet, je nach Wahl, die Verwendung der  Pumpe von Hand oder die Füllung des  Windkessels     mittelst    einer     Druckluftquelle,     zum Beispiel eines Motors. Der abnehmbare  Handgriff erlaubt eine     rationelle    Verpackung  unter kleiner     Raumbeanspruchung.
