Description

  

  Porte à un battant susceptible de s'ouvrir indifféremment par l'un ou l'autre  de ses côtés verticaux.    L'objet de la présente invention est une  porte à un battant, susceptible de s'ouvrir  indifféremment par l'un ou l'autre de ses  côtés verticaux.  



  La figure unique du dessin annexé repré  sente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécu  tion de l'objet de l'invention.  



  La porte 1 comporte des gonds 2, 2', 2"  de chaque côté, permettant le pivotement de  la porte sur l'un ou l'autre de ses côtés. Cha  que gond est constitué par deux parties 3, 3'.  La partie supérieure 3 est fixée à la porte 1,  tandis que la partie inférieure 3' est solidaire  de l'encadrement 4 -de la porte. Le gond 2 af  fecte la forme d'un tube fermé à son extré  mité supérieure. Il comporte en outre une rai  nure 5, dans laquelle vient glisser le support  6 dont fait partie le     pivot    7, lequel glisse  dans les deux parties du gond' 2. Le support  6 est solidaire d'une tige 8. Celui du gond  central est taillé en crémaillère 9 à l'une de  ses extrémités et     engrène    avec le segment  denté 10 commandé par la poignée 11, res  pectivement 11'.

      Le fonctionnement de la porte représentée  est le suivant:  En tournant la poignée 11 de droite à  gauche, on fait tourner le segment d'enté 10  engrenant avec la crémaillère 9, ce qui a  pour effet de déplacer vers le haut la tige 8,  dégageant ainsi le pivot 7, de la partie in  férieure 3' des gonds, fixée au montant droit  de l'encadrement 4 de la porte 1. On peut  alors ouvrir la porte, les pivots 7 de la par  tie gauche de la porte étant engagés dans les  gonds 2 correspondants. La     manoeuvre    est la  même pour ouvrir la porte de l'autre côté, en  tournant la poignée 11' de gauche à droite.

      The operation of the door shown is as follows: By turning the handle 11 from right to left, the input segment 10 is rotated meshing with the rack 9, which has the effect of moving the rod 8 upwards, releasing thus the pivot 7, of the lower part 3 'of the hinges, fixed to the right upright of the frame 4 of the door 1.
