Fermoir de #b!jou. L'objet de l'invention est un fermoir de bijou, de montre-bracelet ou de bracelet par exemple.
<B>Il</B> comporte, comme d'autres fermoirs connus de bijoux, une gaine et un coulissea <B> </B> u respective ment reliés aux deux parties<B>à</B> réunir du bijou. Mais il s'en distingue par le fait que la gaine présente au moins une coulisse ayant des parties de largeurs différentes et le cou- lisseau au moins un riez disposé de manière <B>à</B> pouvoir passer dans la partie de grande largeur de la coulisse, mais non dans la partie étroite de cette coulisse, de sorte qu'une fois introduit dans cette partie il ne peut se dégager de ladite coulisse, tant qu'il n'est pas ramené dans la partie large.
Le dessin annexé représente,<B>à</B> titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du fermoir, appliquée<B>à</B> un bracelet.

La gaine a, solidaire de l'une des parties <B>d</B> du bracelet d-e, a la forme d'un prisme droit<B>à</B> bases rectangulaires, légèrement in curvées dans la même direction de façon qu'elles soient sensiblement parallèles, et comporte un corps<B>b,</B> ainsi qu'un couvercle<B>o.</B> Le corps<B>b</B> a une section transversale en<B>U,</B> est ouvert<B>à</B> l'une<B>de</B> ses extrémités, est fermé <B>à</B> l'autre par une paroi transversale f et ren ferme une pièce<B>g</B> ayant une section trans versale en<B>U</B> renversé.
La pièceg repose sur le fond de<B>b</B> par ses ailes, moins hautes que celles de ce corps qui dépassent ainsi légére- ment le fond de<B>g;</B> dans ce dernier est mé nagée une coulisse axiale h-i présentant une partie rectiligne h de faible largeur et une partie circulaire i de diamètre plus grand que la largeur de h.
Entre le corps<B>b</B> et la pièce <B>g</B> sont logés un bloc-coulissant <B>j,</B> guidé de façon rectiligne par des nervures s du fond de cette pièce<B><I>g,-</I></B> et un ressort<B>k;</B> le second tend<B>à</B> pousser constamment le premier vers la gauche en prenant appui sur une tige transversale circulaire<B>1;</B> le mouvement de ce bloc est cependant limité par une seconde tige transversale, m; dans ledit bloc est pra- tiquée une ouverture d'un diamètre un peu supérieur<B>à</B> celui de la partie i de la coulisse h#i. Les tiges<B>1, 1</B> servent en outre<B>à</B> assembler le corps<B>b</B> et ladite pièce<B><I>g.</I></B>
Le couvercle<B>c</B> est articulé en Yi sur le corps<B>b-</B> il est muni d'un bec recourbé o en prise<B>à</B> la position<B>de</B> fermeture avec la tige<B>1</B> et le maintenant ainsi<B>à</B> cette position.
Le eoulisseau 1), solidaire de l'autre partie e du bracelet d-e, se compose d'une plaque repliée en L, présentant un nez<B>q,</B> destiné<B>à</B> passer dans la coulisse h-i et une ouverture allongée î- donnant passage an bec o du couvercle c;
le riez<B>q</B> a une section trans versale en T renversé dont la branche iné- diane a une largeur un peu inférieure<B>à</B> celle de la partie h<I>de</I> h-i, tandis que sa branche transversale a une longueur supérieure<B>à</B> la largeur de cette partie h, mais inférieure au diamètre de la partie i.
On procède comme suit pour fixer le bra celet au bras: On ouvre le couvercle c (fig. 2), on fait passer le coulisseau<B>p</B> entre celui-ci et la pièce<B>y,</B> on introduit son nez q dans la partie i de la coulisse h-i et dans l'ou verture du bloc j, on referme enfin le cou vercle<B>c.</B> Le nez q s'engage dans la partie li, de la coulisse h-i, de laquelle il ne petit plus se dégager, et<B>y</B> prend une position longitudinale dépendant du pourtour du bras;
le bracelet d-e est constamment appliqué sur celui-ci par le ressort<B>k</B> tendant<B>à</B> pousser le bloc j vers la gauche. Au cas où le riez q arriverait fortuitement dans la partie i de h-i, le couvercle<B>c</B> maintiendrait encore le coulisseau<B>_p</B> cri place et<B>l' '</B> empêcherait de se séparer facilement de la gaine.
Pour libérer le bracelet d-e, on ouvre le couvercle c, on amène le riez<B>q</B> dans la partie i, ce qui permet de séparer les deux parties<B><I>d,</I></B><I> e</I> l'une de l'autre<B>à</B> l'endroit du fermoir.
La pièce<B>g</B> petit présenter plusieurs cou lisses destinées<B>à</B> recevoir autant de nez du coulisseau. Il peut<B>y</B> avoir plus d'un bec o du couverclec; ces becs pourraient d'ailleurs passer<B>à</B> l'extérieur du corps<B>b</B> et s'accrocher <B>à</B> des saillies de celui-ci, de façon que la plaque rie présente pas d'ouvertures r visibles suivant la position relative qu'occupent la gaine a et le coulisseau<B>_p.</B>
Le fermoir peut être utilisé pour d'autres bijoux qu'un bracelet ou une montre-bracelet.
