Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Azofarbstoffes.       Durch (las Patent Nr. 121711 ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines     Azofarbstoffes     geschützt, welches dadurch     gekennzeichnet     ist, dass man asymmetrisches     Metaxylidin          diazotiert    und die     Diazoverbindung    mit     1-          (4'-Oxy        -3'-carboxyphenylsulfoäthy        lamino)-8-          naphtol-3,6-disulfosäure    kuppelt.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man zu  demselben Farbstoff gelangt, wenn man       Metaxylol-azo-l-äthylamino-8-naphtol-3.        6-di-          sulfos5,ure    mit     Salizylsäuresulfochloricl    be  handelt.  



       Beispiel     523 Gewichtsteile des     Dinatriumsalzes    der       Metaxylol-azo-l-äthylamino-8-naphtol-3    .     6-di-          sulfosäure    werden in 1000 Gewichtsteilen  Wasser neutral gelöst und mit 106 Ge  wichtsteilen Soda versetzt; darauf gibt man  bei 80   so lange     Salizylsäuresulfochlorid    in    kleinen Portionen zu, bis die Farbe der Lö  sung nicht mehr röter wird. Der durch Aus  salzen abgeschiedene Farbstoff ist identisch  mit dem nach dem Verfahren des Patentes  Nr.<B>121711</B>     erhaltenen    Produkt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Azofarb- stoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Metaxylol-azo-l-äthylamino-8-naphtol-3. 6-di- sulfosäure mit Salizylsäuresulfochlorid be handelt. Der Farbstoff ist identisch mit dem nach dem Verfahren des Patentes Nr. 121711 erhaltenen Produkt. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of an azo dye, characterized in that metaxylene-azo-1-ethylamino-8-naphtol-3. 6-disulfonic acid treated with salicylic acid sulfochloride.
