Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines leicht     löslichen    basischen Farbstoffes.    Gemäss dem in dem Hauptpatent     Nr.163009     beschriebenen Verfahren lässt sich die Was  serlöslichkeit des Farbstoffes     Viktoriablau    R  ganz wesentlich erhöhen, wenn man diesen  Handelsfarbstoff durch Behandlung mit Phos  phorsäure in das phosphorsaure Salz ver  wandelt.  



  Wie nun weiter gefunden wurde,     lässt     sich die Farbbase des Farbstoffes     Tetrame-          thyldiaminodipheriazthioniumchlorid        (Methy-          lenblau)    in der gleichen Weise in einen sehr  leicht wasserlöslichen     Farbstoff    überführen.  Das     Farbstoffsalz    zeigt die gleichen Vorteile,  die im Hauptpatent für den aus     Viktoriablau     R hergestellten Farbstoff beschrieben sind.

    <I>Beispiel:</I>  32 Teile des basischen Farbstoffes Tetra  methyldiaminodiphenazthioniumehlorid     (Me-          thylenblau)    werden heiss in Wasser gelöst    und in so viel mit Eis verdünnter Natron  lauge einlaufen gelassen, dass sich die     Farb-          base    vollständig abscheidet. Diese wird ab  gesaugt, mit kaltem Wasser gewaschen und  dann mit Wasser zu einem dünnen Brei an  gerührt.

   Nach Zugabe der etwa doppelten  äquivalenten Menge 85     0%iger        Phosphoräure     wird die entstandene Lösung     abfiltriert    und  bei erhöhter Temperatur durch Zugabe von       Natriumphosphat        ausgesalzen.    Nach Abküh  lung wird der abgeschiedene     Farbstoff    von  der die Flüssigkeit getrennt und bei erhöhter  Temperatur getrocknet. Er fällt dann in gut  kristallisiertem Zustand an und man erhält  so einen reinen     Farbstoff    von ausgezeichneter  Löslichkeit.  



  Selbstverständlich kann man auch die in  der Fabrikation gegebenenfalls anfallende  freie Base unmittelbar in das Phosphat über  führen.

  As has now also been found, the color base of the dye tetramethyldiaminodipheriazthionium chloride (methylene blue) can be converted into a very easily water-soluble dye in the same way. The dye salt shows the same advantages that are described in the main patent for the dye made from ViktoriablauR.

    <I> Example: </I> 32 parts of the basic dye tetra methyldiaminodiphenazthionium chloride (methylene blue) are dissolved in hot water and poured into so much sodium hydroxide solution diluted with ice that the color base separates completely. This is sucked off, washed with cold water and then stirred into a thin paste with water.

   After adding about twice the equivalent amount of 85% strength phosphoric acid, the resulting solution is filtered off and salted out at an elevated temperature by adding sodium phosphate. After cooling, the deposited dye is separated from the liquid and dried at an elevated temperature. It is then obtained in a well-crystallized state and a pure dye of excellent solubility is obtained.



  Of course, any free base that may be produced during manufacture can also be converted directly into the phosphate.

PATENTANSPRUCH Verfahren zur Herstellung eines leicht löslichen basischen Farbstoffes, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man die Farbbase des Farbstoffes Tetramethyldiaminodiphenazthio- niumchlorid mit Phosphorsäure behandelt; das erhaltene phosphorsaure Salz ist sehr leicht wasserlöslich.
