Chapeau à transformations. La présente invention a pour objet un chapeau à transformations ayant une calotte souple et un bord souple, lui permettant d'être retourné à la manière d'un gant; le bord de ce chapeau comporte deux faces de couleurs différentes qui apparaissent alterna tivement à l'extérieur suivant que le chapeau est retourné dans un sens ou dans l'autre.
Au dessin ci-joint, donné à titre d'exemple: La fig. 1 est une vue en plan par en dessous d'un chapeau établi d'après la pré sente invention; La fig. 2 en est une vue en perspective et montre le chapeau en service, le bord étant disposé pour exposer une face ayant extérieurement la même couleur que 1e corps du chapeau, mais avec ûne doublure de cou leur différente; La fig. 3 est une vue en perspective du chapeau représenté sur la fig. 2 et retourné de telle sorte que le bord montre une gar niture externe de couleur autre que celle du corps du chapeau.
Le chapeau se compose de la calotte 10 qui est de préférence en feutre et composée de pièces 11 cousues les unes aux autres. Le bord est composé de deux bandes -de tissu 12 et 17 de couleurs différentes, la bande 17 étant plus étroite que la bande 12; ce bord est cousu sur le bord inférieur de la calotte le long de la ligne 13. La bande 12 peut être de même couleur que la calotte 10. Sur une petite longueur à partir de la base de la ca lotte, les bords adjacents des deux pièces 11 situées à l'arrière du chapeau ne sont pas cousus l'un à l'autre de façon à laisser sub sister une encoche 14 en forme de<B>V.</B> Le bord 12; 17 n'est pas cousu à la calotte le long de l'espace 15 à l'endroit de l'encoche 14.
Les extrémités des bandes 12 et 17 sont prolongées au delà de cette encoche 14, ainsi que représenté en 16, 16 , et dans ces por tions terminales les bandes 12 et 17 ne sont pas cousues l'une à l'autre; les bouts 18, 18a de la bande 17 sont un peu plus courts que ceux 16 et 161, de la bande 12. Ces bouts 18, 181, peuvent être ornés de jours 19. Les bandes 12 et 17 sont fendues en 20 de façon à former une boutonnière relativement longue s'étendant au travers du bord, et elles sont cousues l'une à l'autre autour de cette bou tonnière en 21.
Dans l'utilisation de ce chapeau, le bord peut être tourné vers le haut tout autour, ainsi que représenté sur la fig.3, et les bouts 16a et 18a peuvent être insérés à travers la boutonnière 20 de façon à obtenir un chapeau possédant par exemple une calotte grise et un bord qui est gris sur son côté interne et dont la face externe peut avoir une autre couleur, par exemple orange, on a ainsi formé sur l'arrière du chapeau un ornement rappelant un noeud, constitué par les bouts 16, 18 et par les bouts 16a et 181, insérés à travers la boutonnière 20,
ce noeud présentant une gar niture orange sur un fond gris.
A la fig. 2, le chapeau est retourné par rapport à la manière dont il est utilisé dans la fig. 3, et la garniture orange est disposée entièrement à l'intérieur du bord qui est tourné vers le haut sur tout le tour, en mon trant un ornement gris avec une doublure orange, le bord possédant une doublure orange.
Hat with transformations. The hat consists of the cap 10 which is preferably made of felt and composed of parts 11 sewn together. The edge is made up of two strips of fabric 12 and 17 of different colors, strip 17 being narrower than strip 12; this edge is sewn to the bottom edge of the cap along line 13. Strip 12 may be the same color as cap 10. Over a short length from the base of the cap, the adjacent edges of both pieces 11 located at the back of the hat are not sewn to each other so as to leave a notch 14 in the shape of <B> V. </B> The brim 12; 17 is not sewn to the cap along the space 15 at the location of the notch 14.
The ends of the bands 12 and 17 are extended beyond this notch 14, as shown at 16, 16, and in these end portions the bands 12 and 17 are not sewn together; the ends 18, 18a of the strip 17 are a little shorter than those 16 and 161, of the strip 12. These ends 18, 181, can be decorated with openings 19. The strips 12 and 17 are split in 20 so as to form a relatively long buttonhole extending across the edge, and they are sewn together around this 21-buttonhole.
In the use of this hat, the brim can be turned upwards all around, as shown in fig. 3, and the ends 16a and 18a can be inserted through the buttonhole 20 so as to obtain a hat having by example a gray cap and a brim which is gray on its inner side and whose outer side may have another color, for example orange, an ornament reminiscent of a knot was thus formed on the back of the hat, consisting of the ends 16 , 18 and through the ends 16a and 181, inserted through the buttonhole 20,

In fig. 2, the cap is turned upside down from the way it is used in fig. 3, and the orange trim is disposed entirely inside the edge which is facing up all the way around, showing a gray ornament with an orange lining, the edge having an orange lining.
