Mark wechselnden Temperaturen in Hohl räumen stets erfolgt.
Torsion \ pirale thermometer built into an electrical water storage tank. There are known thermometers, consisting of an ider temperature measurement serving torsion spiral made of metal, which at Tem temperature changes draws closer BEZW. expands and the resulting torsional movement is transferred to an axis, which has a pointer at one end that indicates the temperature on a correspondingly divided scale.
Since the heat transfer from the liquid respectively. From the vessel where the temperature is to be measured to the torsion spiral. e only takes place through irradiation, any air circulation and any extraction of heat from the surroundings of the torsion spiral must be carefully avoided.
The present invention now relates to a torsion spiral thermometer built into an electrical hot water storage tank, which is to be created in a manner which, on the one hand, practically prevents the extraction of heat from the torsion spiral, and on the other hand. at different depths respectively. Strengths of the thermal insulation layer of the hot water storage tank means that the same thermometer can be used.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown, for example, in a longitudinal section.
With A, the wall of an electrical hot water storage tank is designated; B is an outer sheet metal jacket and C is the thermal insulation compound of the storage vessel that fills the space between the two. D is a connector which protrudes into the interior of the storage vessel and is closed at the inner end, which is screwed into a threaded connector a of the vessel wall A.
The actual thermometer has a housing I 'which is open on one end and which is arranged inside the connector D with axial play and is connected by means of the pipe G to the scale housing II located outside the sheet metal jacket B.
E_ne axis I is rotatably supported near its ends and at one end carries the metal torsion spiral K connected to the housing T ', and at the other end the pointer playing over the scale 3I in the C housing H L. A heat insulating layer N, for example made of As best, is applied around the pipe G and fits into the socket D.
To accommodate and protect the thermometer, a protective tube E is placed in the thermal insulation layer C of the storage vessel. a space left out, which is filled up to the insulating layer N by an insulating layer 0 of the same type. The position of the protective tube E is secured in that it is pushed onto the threaded connector a on the inside and bumped against the sheet metal jacket 1> on the outside with a crimped edge.
If the thermal insulation layer C of the hot water storage tank is of different thickness, the housing F with the torsion spiral 1i serving for temperature measurement will be inserted more or less deeply into the connection D, the scale housing H always being on the outside of the flange of the estimation tube E. .
The housing F and the torsion spiral Ii will therefore never hit the base of the nozzle D and be damaged when they are inserted, even if the thickness of the layer C varies within fairly wide limits, and therefore no special measure needs to be taken to do this prevent zii.
The insulating layers 1V and D hold back the heat in the connection piece D and in the area of the torsion spiral h and also prevent the formation of ionic water that occurs at. Mark changing temperatures in cavities always takes place. The torsion spiral h will therefore always assume the full temperature prevailing in the water tank.
