Description

Metal drinking vessel for liquid food and drinks.

The subject of the invention is an embodiment of drinking vessels, which is used in particular with metals with high thermal conductivity and essentially in the attachment of a
There is a heat insulator at the upper edge of the vessel, which is designed as a porcelain, enamel, glass ring or the like and expediently protrudes over the edge of the vessel jacket, so that the lip no longer comes into contact with the metal and, moreover, the pleasing appearance the shell is increased.

In the case of double-walled vessels, it is arranged between the inner and outer casing. With single-walled
Shells, this ring also offers the possibility of making the handle from one piece with the ring, which also means that those areas that are touched by hand are heat-insulated.

In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown, u. Between. Fig. 1 shows a section through a double-walled coffee cup and Fig. 2 shows the insulating ring for single-walled
Metal shell. According to Fig. 1, a ring 4 is between the inner jacket 1 and the outer jacket 3 in any desired
Type used, which is expediently made of porcelain, glass, enamel or the like. The ring therefore completely isolates the inner jacket. The ring is conveniently attached so that it can be easily replaced.

In FIG. 2, the upper sheet metal edge of the metal vessel 1 is crimped into the ring 4 protruding beyond the sheet metal edge, which ring 4 is supported by a groove 10 or the like, the handle 9 being expediently manufactured in one piece with the ring 4. The external shape as well as the size and application is arbitrary for all vessels.
