Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Entwlekll_erfarbstOffeS. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller Entwicklerfarbstoff erhalten wird, wenn man tetrazotiertes o-Tolidin, Salicylsäure und 3' Amino - 4'- methyl - 5'- sulfo-l-phenyl-5-pyrazo- lon-3-karbonsäure in molekularen Mengen aufeinander einwirken lässt, wobei man die Tetrazoverbindung sowohl zuerst mit der Salicylsäure,
wie auch mit dem Pyrazolon- derivat kuppeln kann.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein braunrotes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit rotoranger, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit violetter Farbe löst. Er färbt ungebeizte Baumwolle in scharlachroten Tönen, welche durch Diazo- tieren auf der Faser und nachfolgende Ent wicklung mit ss-Naphtol ohne wesentliche Nuancenänderung waschecht fixiert werden.
<I>Beispiel</I> Die Tetrazolösung aus 21,2 Teilen o-Toli- din wird mit der sodaalkalischen Lösung von 14,5 Teilen Salicylsäure zum Zwischenprodukt vereinigt und dasselbe mit der schwach al kalisch reagierenden Lösung des Trinatrium- salzes von 31,3 Teilen 3'-Amino-4'-methyl- 5'-sulfo-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolon-3-karbonsäure weitergekuppelt. Die Kombination ist nach wenigen Stunden beendigt. Es wird alsdann aufgekocht und der Farbstoff aasgesalzen. Beispiel <I>2:</I> Zu der Tetrazolösung aus 21,2 Teilen.
o-Tolidin lässt man bei<B>0-51</B> C innerhalb 15 Minuten unter gutem Rühren die neutrale Lösung des Trinatriumsalzes von 31,3 Teilen 3' - Amino - 4'-methyl- 5'- sulfo-l-phenyl-5-pyr- azolon - 3 -karbonsäure zufliessen. Sobald die Bildung des als brauner Niederschlag sich ausscheidenden Zwischenproduktes beendigt ist, gibt man die Lösung von 14,
5 Teilen Salicylsäure und 15 Teilen Natron 1000/0 zu und lässt bei<B>0-5'</B> weiterrühren. Nach wenigen Stunden ist die Kombination been digt. Das überschüssige Natron wird alsdann mit Salzsäure neutralisiert und der Farbstoff kochend aasgesalzen.
