Description
Terfahren zur Darstellung eines Enivieklerfarbstofes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller Entwicklerfarbstoff erhalten wird, wenn man tetrazotiertes o-Tolidin, Orthokresotinsäure und 3'-Amino-4'-methyl-5'-sulfo-l-phenyl-5- pyrazolon-3-karbonsäur e in molekularen Men gen aufeinander einwirken lässt,
wobei man die Tetrazoverbindung sowohl zuerst mit der Orthokresotinsäure wie auch mit dem Pyra- zolonderivat kuppeln -kann.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein braunrotes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit rotorangen, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit violetter Farbe löst. Er färbt ungebeizte Baumwolle in scharlachroten Tönen, welche durch Di- azotieren auf der Faser und nachfolgende Entwicklung mit f-Naphtol ohne wesentliche Nuancenänderung waschecht fixiert werden.
Beispiel <I>1:</I> Die Tetrazolösung aus 21,2 Teilen o-Toli- din wird mit der soda-alkalischen Lösung von 16 Teilen Orthokresotinsäure zum Zwi schenprodukt vereinigt und dasselbe mit der schwach alkalisch reagierenden Lösung des Trinatriumsalzes von 31,3 Teilen 3'-Amino- 4'-methyl- 5'-sulfo-l-phenyl-5-pyrazolon-3-kar- bonsäure weitergekuppelt. Die Kombination ist nach wenigen Stunden beendigt.
Es wird alsdann aufgekocht und der Farbstoff aus gesalzen. <I>Beispiel 2:</I> Zu der Tetrazolösung aus 21,2 Teilen o-Tolidin lässt man bei 0-5 C innerhalb etwa 15 Minuten unter gutem Rühren die neutrale Lösung des Trinatriumsalzes von 31,3 Teilen 3'-Amino-4'-methyl-5'-sulfo-l-phe- nyl-5-pyrazolon-3-karbonsäure zufliessen.
So bald die Bildung des als brauner Niederschlag sich ausscheidenden Zwischenproduktes been digt ist, gibt man die Lösung von 16 Teilen Orthokresotinsäure und 15 Teilen Natron 100 j0 zu und lässt bei 0-5 weiterrühren. Nach wenigen Stunden ist die Kombination beendigt. Das überschüssige Natron wird als dann mit Salzsäure neutralisiert und der Farbstoff kochend ausgesalzen.
