Always see valve for liquid container. The invention relates to a float valve for liquid containers. 'It has been proposed to provide the float of such valves with a loading vessel. which fills with water when the valve is opened and empties by itself when the valve is closed. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the float's buoyancy when the valve is opened and to increase the float's buoyancy when the valve closes. This achieves a number of advantages.
The increase in the weight of the float leads to faster valve opening and faster refilling of the liquid oil container, while the relief of the swimmer when closing the valve makes it more precise and safer. As soon as the float begins to empty, the valve closes immediately. If the - # valve is closed, the relieved float presses on the valve body with gf_össcrer Eiraft.
This prevents the water from seeping in when the water pressure increases. Furthermore, it is avoided that while the valve is closing, a certain amount of water continues to run slowly at such a low speed that it is no longer measured in the -N#@'.issermesser. As a result, the waterworks is freed from unpaid water losses. The exact valve closing ensures an exact position in the @ tTa.sser box. Hard valve seals that do not indent and do not wear out quickly can be used. This also maintains the liquid level at the same time.
In addition, the float valve is noiseless and operationally reliable with simple and inexpensive manufacture.
Two embodiments of the invention can be seen from the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a float valve, be true for use in connection with a cistern for water closets, in vertical longitudinal section; Fig.? shows the same in horizontal section along line A-B in Fig. 1; Fig. 3 shows the connection of the Schwim merarmes with the valve housing, even if in horizontal section, and Fig. 4 shows a slightly modified form of the float.
In a valve housing 5, which can be connected to a water supply line and has a valve seat 6, a valve body 7 displaceable lengthwise is attached. In connection with an extension 8 of the valve housing 5, as shown in Fig. 1 and '' 3, a stiff, angular tube 9, 10 is connected in a side wall of the same as a lever by means of a screw connection that a pendulum movement of the hollow Float lever 9, 10 on the valve housing is made possible:
The lever or tube 9, 10 carries at its free end a swimmer 11, consisting of an outer loading container 12 and an inner container 13. The outer container 12 surrounds a closed space on all sides, while the inner container closed at the top 13 is connected to the underside of the float 11 by a vertical funnel-shaped tube 14 that is open at both ends.
The wall of the tube 14 has two or more openings 15 and 16 placed one above the other, the latter of which is located just opposite the pointed end 17 of the tube 10. This goes through the outer wall of the container 12 as well as also that of the container 13. The container 13 has an opening 18 at the top, which is generally used for this purpose.
to direct the air located in the container 13 into the open air when the water flows from the valve into the container. The opening 18 can, as shown in Fig. 1, be of a cap 19 with side openings 20 to give.
The angular bend 9 is inserted into the housing 5 since Lich. At the angled bend 9 an upward facing arm 21 is attached. which is connected by a connecting arm 22 to another, upwardly facing arm 23, which can rotate about a boron-ontalen pin located in connection with the housing 5.

<tb> the <SEP> @STaserspiegcl <SEP> rius opens, <SEP> so <SEP> <SEP> the movement of the water through the container 7.3 is completely silent.
Because of the load from the vessel 13, the float is quite low in relation to the water level of the cistern. Gradually, while the float 11 is raised, the valve body 7 approaches the valve seat 6, so that the inflow of water is reduced. Finally the inflow becomes so small that the outflow of the container becomes larger than the inflow, and the container 13 will therefore be emptied.
This takes place with a sharply decreasing CTe speed, in that the water initially flows away partly at the top through the pipe 1-l, partly through the opening 15 and partly through the opening 16, and later only through the opening 16. As the water level cl (-s container 13 falls, the swell rises, rncr 11 in relation to the surrounding water level, and since the lowering of the water:
If it takes only a short time in the container 1.3, the valve body 7 will press itself against the valve seat 6 with a rapid and powerful movement.
The float not only causes the valve to close quickly, but also to open it quickly, even if the water level in the cistern falls only very slowly, as can be the case, for example, with a leaky bottom valve.
The float valve also has the important property that it can never drip, even if it is installed in a leaky cistern or as a high pressure float valve in a larger water container. Instead, the valve opens periodically and suddenly for a full flow of water and quickly closes again. The used water is thus completely measured.
The float shown in Figure 4 differs from the one described above in that the opening 16 is mounted in the wall of the tube 10 and not in the wall of the tube 14; Furthermore, the drain opening 15 is made in the outer wall of the container 13, which in turn is only partially enclosed by the float 11. Even if the container 13 is filled with liquid speed, the hole 18 is always above the water level and therefore acts as a pipe interruption. This construction is simpler than the one described above and is accordingly lower in price.
