Device for influencing the operation of a refrigeration machine, which is driven by a single-phase motor with a short-circuit armature and auxiliary phase. The invention relates to a device for influencing the operation of a refrigeration machine, which is driven by a phase motor A, which is provided with short-circuit armature and starts with an auxiliary phase.
The essence of the invention is that the starter of the single-phase motor is connected to an adjustable timing device with respect to the time, so that 'the stopped engine can no longer be energized before a period of time that can be set in advance .
In the drawing, two embodiments of the invention are exemplified and illustrated schematically. 1 to 4 show the parts of a device in which the cooling water of the refrigeration machine actuates the starter of the single-phase motor, in different positions, while Fig. 5 shows an embodiment in which the starter of the motor is purely electromagnetic is operated. In Figs. 1 to 4, 14 is a tipper, which is a Schaltvorrich device for the later-described starter of a single-phase motor 2 with short-circuit by an approach 1 made of electrically non-conductive material. anchor can operate.
The main phase of this motor 2 is denoted by 3 and whose auxiliary phase is denoted by 4. 5 is an inlet and 5 'is an outlet for the cooling water of a refrigerating machine, not shown, which is actuated by the one phase motor 2. Below the inlet 5 there is arranged a vessel 6 which can be tilted about a support 9, the two end positions of which are determined by two stops 7, 8. The vessel 6 has an outlet opening controlled by an adjustable screw 10, as well as - an overflow wall 11 which, together with the vessel wall, delimits a drainage channel.
The two end positions of the rotatable about a pin 13 tipper 14 are true of two stops 15, 16, and inside this tipper 14, a shell 17 is housed. A piece of pipe 19 guides the water flowing out of the tilting vessel 6, depending on the position of the zipper 14, either into the shell 17 or directly into the flow space 18 of the tipper 14. With 21 a time measuring device is designated, which is used as a SMtze 22 tiltable vessel is formed.
In the interior of this vessel, an overflow wall 23 and a guide wall 24 for the cooling water are provided, and it also has an outflow opening that is governed by an adjustable screw 25. A pipe piece 26 directs the water flowing out of the tipper 14 to the time measuring device 21, whereby it either flows through the space 27 or directly through the channel 28 into the drain 51 arranged below the device 21, depending on the length of this device.
Two stops 30, 31 determine the end positions of the device 21, which has a shoulder 32 and a pin 33 attached to it. This pin made of electrically non-conductive material cooperates with a contact 391 which is connected to an electrical power line 34 and in turn cooperates with a contact 39 which is connected to a line 40.
The current flowing through this line 40 influences a solenoid 41, which in turn acts on a lever 43 made of electrically non-conductive material, which is influenced by a spring 42 and which can hold the timing device 21 in a certain position by means of the attachment 32. The line 40 is connected to a line 44 into which a con tact 35 is turned on, which is not electrically through the. conductive approach 36 of the tipper 6 can be brought into contact with a contact 37. The line 44 is in turn connected to a power line 45. A contact 46 is also connected to the line 44 and can be brought into contact with a contact 47 by the rotatably arranged lever 43.
A line 48 connects the contact 47 to the point 49 where the main phase 3 and the auxiliary phase 4 of the single-phase motor 2 meet. The main phase 3 is in electrical communication with. the coil of an electromagnet 50, as well as with a contact 51, cler in the upper position of the extension 1 of this with a contact 52 is brought into contact.
The contact 52 is: connected by line 53 to an electrical resistor 54, which in turn is connected by line 55 to a line 56 branching off from the power line \ * @ '4. The auxiliary phase 4 is electrically connected to a contact 60 by a line 61. With this con tact 60, a contact 58 can be brought into contact ge through a pin 59 of the set 1, which is also connected to the power line 34 via a choke coil 5 7 and the line 45.
The coil of the electromagnet 50, the adjustable core of which is denoted by 6-22, is electrically connected to a contact 6 3, to which a contact connected to the line 56 through the attachment 1. 64 brought into contact. The switching device, which has the contacts 60-58, 52-51, 61-63, together with the choke coil 57, the resistor 54 and the auxiliary phase 4, forms the starter of the motor 2.
The V'irhun @@ swf.ise of the described device will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. In FIG. 1, the parts are shown in the position they assume when no cooling water is flowing through the refrigerating machine and when all the water has flowed out of the tiltable vessel 6 and the time measuring device 01.
There are then neither the contacts 36-37. nor the contacts .1t; -. 1-7, 58--60 and 51-52 are in contact with each other, so that neither the auxiliary: .- nor the main phase of the motor 2 current flows, which therefore stands still. The empty Zeitmessv device 21 is in the lower Labe so that the contacts 39-391 are closed.
As soon as cooling water flows through the cooling line. if such flows to the vessel 6 via the inlet 5, it then gradually fills. At the moment when the water overflows over the wall 11, the vessel 6 tilts from the position shown in FIG. 1 to the position shown in FIG. 2, whereby the contact 35 with the contact 37 in through the approach 36 Is brought into contact, so that now current flows through the solenoid 41.
This therefore moves the lever 43 in a clockwise direction, so that it now locks the timing device 21 in the manner shown in FIG. At the same time, the contact 46 is brought into contact with the contact 47, so that current can flow through the line 48, the main phase 3, the coil of the electromagnet 50, the contacts 63 and 64 and through the line 56.
Since the motor 2 is not yet running for the time being, the current surge in the electromagnet 50 is very large, so that the core 62 is quickly moved upwards by a larger amount and since the tipper 14 is moved from the position shown in FIG that illustrated in Fig. 2 flips over. As a result, the contacts 63 and 64 are once brought out of contact, while both the contacts 51-52 and the contacts 58-60 come into contact with one another, so that now through the auxiliary phase 4, the choke coil 57, the resistor 54 and also the main phase 3 electricity can flow. Motor 2 is now energized and can start.
Meanwhile, the core 62 of the electric magnet 50 has fallen back into the position shown in Fig. 2 in dashed lines. The tipper 14, however, remains in the position shown in FIG. 2 until. the shell 17 is filled. If this is the case, the tipper 14 moves into the position shown in FIG. 3, where the water flowing out of the pipe section 19 flows to the right of the bowl 17 through the space 18 and the bowl 17 is emptied again. The contacts 63-64 are now in contact with one another, while the contacts 51-52 and 58-60 no longer touch one another.
The auxiliary phase 4, the choke coil 57 and the resistor 54 are now de-energized again, while the main phase 3 is still traversed by the current, which also passes through the coil of the electromagnet 50. But since the motor 2 is now running, the current flowing through the electromagnet 50 is no longer as strong as before, where the motor 2 was at a standstill when the contacts 63-64 were closed, and the electromagnet 50 is now built so that it at the current strength that occurs in it when the motor 2 is running, the core 62 can no longer move upwards, so that only the contacts 63-64 are closed and therefore only the main phase 3 receives current.
If no more cooling water flows through the part 5, the tiltable vessel 6 is gradually emptied. By adjusting the screw 10, this period can be made shorter or longer. If the vessel 6 is emptied, it tilts back from the position shown in Fig. 3 to the position shown in Fig. 4, with the contacts 35-37 coming out of contact.
As a result, the solenoid 41 is de-energized and the spring 42 can now move the lever 43 in such a way that the lock between the same and the timing device 21 is released so that the latter can tilt into the position shown in FIG. 4, in which it remains, until all the liquid has flowed out of the space 27.
With the help of the adjusting screw 25, it is possible to measure this emptying time exactly. If before the end of this period cooling water should flow again at 5, the motor 2 cannot be set under power, because the water flowing out of the vessel 6 and the tipper 14 flows through the space 28 of the device 21, where it is unable to influence the position of this device in any way. Only after the emptying of the space 27 will the device 21 tilt back into the position shown in FIG. 1 and thereby bring the contacts 39-39 into contact with one another, so that the processes described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3 are then repeated can.
The device described thus has the peculiarity that after the single-phase motor 2 has been switched off, it can no longer be energized before it is discharged for a period of time that can be precisely determined in advance.
However, if that time period has expired and the contacts 37-35 have already been closed, the electromagnet 50, 62 will play intermittently until the engine 2 has been started, that is to say after Initial opening of contacts 63--6.1 and closing. the contacts 51-52 and 58-60 did not start, so the Elel @ tromagttet 50, 62 will move the tipper 14 in steps until the engine \? starts up.
The inflow of the cooling water to the operating device can be brought in a manner known per se as a function of the cooling effect of the refrigeration machine, for example by allowing a device influenced by that cooling effect to act on a device that controls the inflow of the Controls the cooling water to the vessel 6 in such a way that, for example, no more water flows to it as soon as the cooling temperature has reached a certain lower limit.
The one in Fig. 5 shown @ .. execution differs from the first described by a different design of the starter, which in this second embodiment is no longer directly actuated by the flowing cooling water, but only influenced in a purely electromagnetic way. In FIG. 5, the files which correspond to parts of the first embodiment are given the same reference numerals as in FIGS. 1 to 1.
In the arrangement according to FIG. 5, two coils 70, 71 of an electromagnet are added, the core of which is marked with; 73 and which works together with a damping device embodied as an oil inhibitor 74, for example. The core 73 forms a whole with a piston rod 75 on which one end of a spring 76 acts. The second end of the spring 76 is at one end. 77 rotatably attached to an organized lever 78 which is in its lower position against a stop 79 on.
The task falls on the lever 78, in a certain position of the core 73, contacts 80-81, -elche in a line 81 connecting the auxiliary phase .1 to the coil 71. ' are switched on to bring them into contact with each other. The main phase 3 of the motor 2 is connected to the coil 70 which, like the coil 71, is connected to the power line 34.
In Fig. 5 the various parts are shown in the position: - which they occupy after the contacts 35-37 and 46-17 have already been brought into contact with one another. It's flowing now. Current through the main phase 3 and the coil 70, which has a lifting of the core, 73 and consequently a closing of the line 81 '<in the points 80, 81 result. The Olliemtnung 74 prevents excessively rapid movements of the core 73; which could make it more difficult to start because of the short closing time at position 80, 81.
As soon as the contacts 80-81 touch, the auxiliary phase 1 also receives power so that the motor 2 can then start. The core 73 is moved back into its lower position.
If the motor 2 is started, the current flowing through the main phase 3 and the coil 70 is not able to lift the core 73 as a result of the corresponding formation of the electromagnet 70, 71, 73 so that the contacts 80-81 do not come together come into contact and the auxiliary phase 3 remains switched off. On the other hand, does a single lifting of the core 73 cause the l @ lotors to be tempered? not reached,
so the current flowing through the main phase 3 and the coil 70 causes the core 73 to be disconnected intermittently until the start-up is successful.
Instead of the described time measuring device 21 through which the cooling water flows, an adjustable clockwork can also be used, whereby it must be ensured that the same is prevented from running down by a member corresponding to the described lever 43 before the motor 2 is switched off , on the other hand, after this engine has been switched off, this link is released, so that this clockwork can then run within a pre-set period of time in order to then enable the starter to switch on the engine again only after that period of time has expired.
The tiltable vessel 6, which is illustrated in the illustrated embodiments as single-pole switching, can also be designed as a two-pole switch.
