Description

Device for fixing the dial on feet to watch movements and other instruments. The object of the invention is a device for fixing a dial to feet to the movements of watches, counters, indicators and other instruments.

The attached drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of this positive device.

Fig. 1 the watch in longitudinal section along the axis of the base of the dial; Fig. 2 is a cross section, taken along the line A-B of FIG. 1.

In the attached drawing, the dial is supported by the cage of a watch movement. This cage includes plate 1 and bridge 2 assembled with each other. The cage is pierced right through with a cylindrical hole 3 flared at 4. In this hole 3 is adjusted and held axially a sleeve 5 split diametrically at 6, over part of its length, so that it forms two segments 7, 7 'which can be brought together or separated from one another. The rear part of the sleeve is massive and has, on its front face, a slot 8 allowing the sleeve to be turned using a screwdriver. In the socket is engaged, between the segments 7, 7 ', a foot 9 of dial 10.

Each segment 7 respectively 7 'comprises, towards its end. free, an eccentric lateral projection 11 which is engaged in a corresponding recess 12 of the plate 1.

When the socket 5 occupies the position shown in the drawing, the foot 9 of the dial is free between the segments 7 and 7 '. However, the profile of the projections 11 and the recess 1.2 is chosen so that the segments 7 and 7 'are tightened against each other and pinch the foot 9 of the dial, when rotated a little, in the 'one or the other direction, the sleeve 5. In fact, as soon as the sleeve 5 is rotated, the projections 11 undergo an angular offset with respect to the recess 12 which, acting like a cam , tighten the segments 7, 7 '.

The projections 11 are then wedged between the base of the dial, on the one hand, and the profiled wall of the recess 12, on the other hand, which secures the fixing of the base of the dial until the socket 5 is again returned to its initial position shown in the drawing. The socket could have more than two segments. As for the eccentric projections of these segments, and the corresponding recess, their profile could differ from that of the example shown in the drawing, provided that this profile is appropriate for the function that the device must fulfill.
