Description

Bayonet fixing device for the case of a timepiece in a support. The object of the invention is a bayonet fixing device for the case of a timepiece in a support; this device is characterized in that one of the parts, box and support, carries an elastic member which, when the lug of the bayonet joint is fully engaged in its groove, engages with the other part so to prevent inadvertent rotation of the box in the support and the release of the lug from its groove.

The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is an axial vertical section, A representing the watch and B the support; fig. 2 is a plan view of this support; figs. $ and 4 represent, in plan, respectively in elevation, the telescope of box A.

The support B is fixed by screws a to the wall b of a vehicle, of an automobile for example. Watch A comprises a bezel c and a caseback d; it is fixed to the support B and passes through a central recess which the latter presents as well as a corresponding recess, hollowed out in the wall b. Watch A is fixed to the support B by means of two bayonet joints, the lugs e of which are fixed to the support B at both ends of the same diameter, and protrude inside this support, while the grooves f are made in the bezel c.

The support B also carries inside it a spring g provided with a projecting head Ta and the bezel e has, at its periphery, in addition to the two grooves f, two housings i 'and i2. To fix the telescope to the support, it is engaged in the latter so that the inputs f 1 of the grooves f are engaged with the lugs e. In this position, the head h of the spring g penetrates freely into the housing ii. After which, the telescope is rotated from left to right, in fig. 2, in the holder.

By this rotation, the er gots e are brought to their full travel in their respective grooves f and the head la of the spring g engages in the housing i '. This head opposes, to an involuntary rotation of the telescope, in the direction from right to left in fig. 2, a certain resistance, which prevents the, bezel does not emerge from its support under the influence of the vibrations of the vehicle.
