Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, d.ass man einen neuen Küpenfarbstoff erhält, wenn man Brom-2. 3- naphthoxythiophen (Brom-5. 6-benzo-2.3-.cli- ketodihydro-l-thiona.phthen) mit reaktions fähigen a-Derivaten des 5.7-Dichlorisatins nach bekannten Methoden kondensiert. Der so gewonnene Farbstoff bildet ein blaues Pul ver, das sich in Monohydrat mit olivgrüner und in Nitrobenzol mit rötlicher Farbe löst.
Mit Hydrosulfit und NTatronlauge erhält man eine gelbbraune Küpe, aus welcher Baum wolle in echten rotstichigbl.auen Tönen an gefärbt wird. Der Farbstoff eignet sich auch gut zum Baumwolldruck.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>2</B> 79 Teile Brom-2 .3-n.aphthoxythiopllen --erden .mit der fünffachen Menge Xylol an gerührt und mit 231 Teilen 5. 7-Dichlorisa- tinchlorid, gelöst in Xylol, langsam vereinigt. Sofort entwickelt sich Salzsäure und die Flüssigkeit färbt sich vialettblau; durch ge- lindes Erwärmen wird die Kondensation be endet.
Nach dem Erkalten wird filtriert, mit Chlorbenzol und dann mit Alkohol gewa- sehen und der getrocknete Farbstoff eventuell zwecks Reinigung aus konzentrierter Schwe felsäure umgelöst.
Process for the preparation of a vat dye. It has been found that a new vat dye is obtained if bromine-2. 3-naphthoxythiophene (bromo-5. 6-benzo-2.3-.cli- ketodihydro-l-thiona.phthen) condensed with reactive α-derivatives of 5.7-dichloroisatin according to known methods. The dye obtained in this way forms a blue powder which dissolves in monohydrate with an olive green color and in nitrobenzene with a reddish color.
With hydrosulphite and sodium hydroxide solution, you get a yellow-brown vat, from which cotton is dyed in real reddish-blue hues. The dye also works well for cotton printing.
<I> Example: </I> <B> 2 </B> 79 parts of bromine-2 .3-n.aphthoxythiopllen --erden .stirred with five times the amount of xylene and with 231 parts of 5,7-dichlorosatin chloride , dissolved in xylene, slowly combined. Hydrochloric acid develops immediately and the liquid turns vialet blue; the condensation is ended by gentle heating.
After cooling, it is filtered, washed with chlorobenzene and then with alcohol and the dried dye is possibly redissolved from concentrated sulfuric acid for the purpose of cleaning.
