Device for softening shoe tips by moist steam, the subject of the present invention is a device for softening shoe tips by moist steam kept under atmospheric pressure, with a perforated plate located under the workpieces. A device of this type has become known through the German patent code 348462.
It has been shown, however, that the holes of the perforated plate of the device of the cited patent, which are completely remote from the evaporation center, have not been fed with the same amount of steam as the holes located in the vicinity of the evaporation center. The consequence of this was that the workpieces completely removed from the evaporation center were not reached in the required manner.
The purpose of the E-binding is to distribute the water vapor evenly across all workpieces, regardless of the distance between the workpieces and the evaporation center.
According to the invention, this purpose is achieved in that the inside diameter of the round holes on the plate does not exceed that of the shaft of an ordinary pin, for the purpose of distributing the steam evenly over all parts of the plate and in to be able to hold back condensation water through surface tension for evaporation in the holes of the plate.
The subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example.
Fig. 1 is a side view, partly in section, of a device for softening thrust tips; Fig. 2 is a section on line 2-2 of Fig. 1 with certain parts omitted; Fig. 3 is a plan view of the perforated plate located between a radiator and (the work pieces; Fig. D4 is a vertical section along the line 4-4 of Fig. 1 omitting (loose material.
All the frame of the device, a steam chamber is formed, the allus a hollow part 10 and 11 and 12's removable flanges ordered. Between the flanges 11 and 12 and the ends of the part 10 there is a flange seal; 17e are kept steam-tight for their days by bolts 13. All of the part 10 is a bearing block 1f5, and each of the flanges 11, 13 is mounted on one console-type parts 16 and a bracket 17. A support 18 for one or more strips 42 (FIG. 1) is attached to all console-type parts 16 by means of visual screws 19.
Eitle errs essential upright plate 20 b) e- uses the upward movement of the strips inserted in the direction towards the end. I11 bores in the plate 2'0 find two bolts, one of which is indicated by the reference number 3]. On the lower ends of the bolts 21 wing nuts 22) are provided, which serve to clamp the plate 20). The bolts protrude through the slots 23 of the support 18 so that the plate 20 with reference to the support 18 can be adjusted in the required manner.
The steam chamber is fed with steam through a front 24, and the used steam flows back to the feed duel through a draw) 25. The steam pressure in the steam chamber was controlled by valves 2G6 27. The water (28) created by condensation can sieve to collect at the level of the discharge pipe 25 in the steam chamber. On the part 10, a horizontal extension 2'9 is formed which extends over the tip parts of the wide strips on the support 18 and conducts the heat that has passed through the steam between the last and the front leaves of the footwear.
The extension 29 is of such a lateral extent that it can extend over much of his seclhs groin. The Forisatz 29 is designed in the shape of a pan, so that a shallow chamber 30 is created in which the water between the strips 42 and the front blades 31 can be evaporated.
The water that has collected through condensation in the steam chamber can be driven into the chamber 30 by the pressure of the steam in the steam chamber. For this purpose a tube 32 'penetrating through a wall of the steam chamber is provided, the empty end being immersed in the condensation water. This pipe guides the water under pressure to a mouthpiece 32 located above the dam chamber 1 b).
On the body of the steam canister there is a 34 l collecting tray, which absorbs the condensation water that is fed in and it drips onto the pan-shaped part 29 to the factory wheat to be treated and the canal 20 lre fin dt thin gullies perforated plate 25, the ends of which rest on the slopes of the vertical walls of the chamber 30. The plate 35 can easily be removed from the direction.
It shows a large number of round WUT lying next to one another, the width of which in diameter does not exceed that of the shaft of a bulky pin. It has sunk (shown that holes of such a size of steam on all ' Distribute the plate evenly and hold back the water by means of a flat surface so that the holes are filled with water when the heat level of the plate does not exceed the boiling point. The front leaves rest on a wire mesh 37 so that no sec can come into contact with the plate 35.
The network 37 distributes the steam more evenly between the plate 35 and many workpieces. At) the) part 29 is attached a quick named rod 3f8, which clamps the wire net 37 of the hat 35 against the part 29. The rod 38 preferably consists of a bad heat conductor, e.g. B. made of wood, and is approximately the same length as the part 29 and the plate 35 are preit. In the holes of the rod 3) 8 screws 39 are located, which penetrate through holes in the part 29. A hook-shaped extension 40 of the rod 38 engages over the front edge of the plate 35 and prevents the latter and the wire mesh 37 from being displaced.
The pressure and the degree of heat of the steam found in the steam hammer can be regulated by the valves 26, 37. In a verllüllemiissih kummi Zeitr: rtrnr, condensation water collects in the steam hammer. The steam pressure in the steam chamber drives the condensation water through the pipe 32 provided with a valve 41.
By manipulating the valve 41, the amount of water discharged from the mouthpiece 33 can be regulated. When the valve 41 is closed, the workpiece is only heated dry. On the part 29 ribs 50 are formed, which för countries and the plate 35 as a support the NEN.
The degree of heat of the radiator formed by the steam chamber should be practically just sufficient to bring water to the boil. The heat level of the perforated plate 35 is always lower than that of the radiator and should never be driger than the boiling point of the water. After the intended number of work pieces has been placed on the wire mesh 37, the worker opens the valve 41, so that water can drip onto the radiator. The small amount of water evaporates very quickly, and the water vapor distributes itself under the perforated plate 35. The holes in the plate 35 are, as mentioned above, so small that the steam can be distributed under the entire surface of the plate 35 to escape to be able to.
Since the heat level of the plate 35 is below your boiling point, the water vapor rising against the plate is converted back into water by condensation, so that the holes in the plate 35 are filled with water and thereby closed. The degree of heat of the plate 35 approaches the boiling point to such an extent that the amount of steam required to soften the workpieces rises from the surface of the water filling the holes against the workpieces.
If the heat level of the radiator is increased so that the heat level of the plate 35 reaches the boiling point, the water vapor flows directly through the holes in the plate 35.
In the present embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, the steam chamber forms the heat source. It is clear that other heat sources such. B. an electrical heating body can be used to generate the water vapor.
