Die Schraube z und die Feder y bilden zusammen einen fe dernden Mittelkontakt, durch welchen ein Loslösen der Lampe selbst bei starken Er schütterungen verunmöglicht wird. An Stelle der Edisonfassung (Fig. 2) kann eine Ba- ,jonettfassung (Fig. 4) treten; dabei kann die Porzellanfassung q ein Gewinde auf dem ;iussern Einfange besitzen, so dass sie über die Porzellanfassung r geschraubt; werden kann;
Luminaire for semi-direct lighting, which cannot be destroyed by moisture or vapors that attack and destroy the netall. The subject of the present invention is a lighting fixture for semi-direct lighting, which cannot be destroyed by moisture or vapors that attack and destroy metals. The lighting fixture consists of a porcelain base and a glass bell that can be screwed into it. The inside of the porcelain base is designed as a tile surface serving as a reflector, which in turn is designed in its central part sc so that an adjustable device carrying the lamp can be attached.
The bell jar has one and the porcelain base has several openings for ventilation of the lighting fixture.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated by an exemplary embodiment, namely: FIG. 1 shows a view, partially in section. Fig. 2 is a partial view in section, Fig. D is a plan view along the line C-D of Fig. 2, Fig. 4 is a partial view in section in another embodiment, Fig. 5 is a plan view along the line F-F of Fig. 4.
The lighting fixture consists of a porcelain base e, which also serves as a reflector, as will be described below, and a glass bell b, A suspension and regulating device for the lamp consisting of the two porcelain sockets q and r is attached in the center of the base.
A number of holes f ', evenly distributed over the circumference, are provided on the porcelain base e for receiving the screws, by means of which the ceiling of the room is fastened. The porcelain base e also has a cylindrical part g, which is provided on the inside with a screw thread for fastening the bell jar.
In addition to the ventilation openings 1a, this cylindrical part g also has a conical part 1a inclined to the horizontal in its interior. which serves as a deep deflector and which has a reinforced part i towards the center, which is bounded on the inside by a conical surface and which has openings s for the ventilation of the ventilation duct. In addition, three holes s are provided for fastening the fastening and regulating bolts o.
The hanging and regulating device of the lamp a consists of the two porcelain sockets <I> r </I> and <I> q, </I> which are shaped so that the latter can be screwed into the former. An intermediate washer ac made of a plastic material, for example rubber, is placed on the porcelain socket q before screwing in so that any part of the two sockets <I> q </I> and r cannot be damaged when it is screwed on.
The inside of the suspension and regulation device is used to accommodate the connection socket 1 of the lamp, which is described in more detail below. The suspension version r has on its lower part three approaches r 'which have holes r "and serve to guide the threaded regulating bolts o. These holes r" are arranged so that they come to lie under the mentioned holes s .
Screw nuts p (Fig. 7) allow the two screwed-in sockets q and r and thus lamp a to be raised or lowered, in order to be able to adjust the luminaire wire d for the construction of the lamp in different sized lamps.
The bell jar b consists of two parts, namely a part c, c ', which is made matt or translucent in a known manner, and a clear part d. The latter has a hemispherical shape and on the upper part has a cylindrical surface <B> d </B> which is provided with a screw thread and which is screwed into the cylindrical part g.

<tb> intended <SEP> Üffnunn @ <SEP> introduced <SEP> and <SEP> in <SEP> porcelain socket in a traditional manner, for example by means of screws, fastened with the two metal clamps 7a and na. The lamp a is screwed into the connection socket l and closes the circuit of the two power supply wires in that its base presses against the screw z.
The screw z and the spring y together form a fe-reducing center contact, which makes it impossible to loosen the lamp even with strong vibrations. Instead of the Edison version (Fig. 2), a Ba-, jonet version (Fig. 4) can be used; The porcelain socket q can have a thread on the outer catch so that it can be screwed over the porcelain socket r; can be;
In the process, a flanged edge of the connecting socket I. is clamped between the hr-iden porcelain sockets q and r so that the screwed-in lamp cannot wobble.
After the lamp has been fixed in the luminaire, the height of its metal thread - must be adjusted so that its horizontal center plane coincides with the section plane 1-B of the hemispherical part c with the cylindrical part c 'of the glass bulb b.
The length of the cylindrical part c is calculated in such a way that no light beam from the metal thread d can exit directly through the bright part d of the bell jar without being reflected by the surface lt. As can be seen from Fig. 1, even the boundary rays x cannot exit directly from the lighting fixture.
After the height of the lamp and since that of the metal thread c 'has been regulated in the manner described above, the following lighting conditions are obtained: The rays that the luminous metal thread emits against the frosted part c, c' of the bell reach the illuminating surface is only muted. Those rays, however, which are emitted directly upwards, are thrown by means of the reflective surface lz through the bright part d of the bell and reach the places to be illuminated without losing their luminosity.
In this way, however, it is achieved that with undiminished brightness the glowing metal thread (i is not visible from any point, and it is aimed at illumination that does not tire the eye.
Since the lamp is heated very strongly, which is particularly true of the half-watt lamp, the ventilation of the lighting device is accomplished in the following way. At the lowest part of the bell jar an opening c "is provided, which allows the entry of fresh air. In the bell jar it can circulate freely and then rises warmed up, where it passes through the openings s and k, the latter over the whole Perimeter of the porcelain base e are provided evenly distributed, can escape.
The lighting fixture is mainly made of acid-resistant material, namely glass and porcelain, and the use of metal parts is limited to a minimum and is only used where such, be it for fastening purposes or for making contact, is absolutely necessary. The lighting fixture is therefore ideally suited for rooms in which moisture and the metals attacking and destructive vapors are generated. The metal parts used. They are exposed to the vapors that get into the lighting body with the ventilation air, can also be galvanized and are designed in such a way that they can be easily exchanged and replaced.
