Pièce d'horlogerie. L'objet de l'invention est une pièce d'hor logerie, une montre par exemple. Elle est caractérisée en ce que le mouvement est monté dans une boîte comprenant deux coquilles dont au moins l'une est en matière transparente, ces coquilles étant appliquées l'une contre l'autre et assemblées au moyen d'un cercle métallique extensible placé sur la jointure des coquilles et enserrant ces der nières.
Le dessin ci-joint montre, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention.
La fig. 1 la représente en élévation de face; La fig. 2 en est une coupe suivant la ligne À.-B de la fig. 1, le mouvement y étant représenté en élévation vu de côté; La fig. 3 montre les -deux coquilles, vues de dessus; La fig. 4 représente le cercle métallique, vu de dessus.
Dans le dessin, 1 désigne le mouvement de montre auquel est fixé le cadran 2; 3 est l'aiguille des heures et 3' l'aiguille des mi nutes. Le mouvement est monté, par l'inter médiaire d'un cercle d'emboîtage 8, dans une boîte comprenant deux coquilles 5, 6 fabri quées en une substance minérale transparente, de préférence en cristal. Ces coquilles, tout à fait semblables, sont appliquées l'une contre l'autre et présentent de part et d'autre, une entaille 7 qui livre passage à la tige de remontoir 10 traversant également le cercle d'emboîtage 8; elles sont assemblées l'une avec l'autre, au moyen d'un cercle métallique exten sible 11 placé sur la jointure des coquilles. A cet effet, le cercle 11 présente une solution de continuité 12 et, de part et d'autre de cette dernière, un segment de tube 13 respective ment 13' fileté à l'extérieur.
Les segments 13 et 13' sont écartés l'un de l'autre comme représenté en fig. 4, lorsqu'on ajuste le cercle extensible 11 sur les coquilles 5 et 6, et ensuite ramenés l'un contre l'autre, de ma nière qu'ils forment un tube livrant.passage à la tige de remontoir. Sur ce tube ainsi formé est vissé le pendant 14 portant la bé- lière 15. Le pendant 14 est surmonté de la couronne 16 ajustée sur un carré de la tige de remontoir 40 et fixée à l'aide d'un écrou 17 vissé sur un tenon fileté 18 de ladite tige de remontoir. L'écrou 17 étant noyé dans la couronne 16, présente, à l'extérieur, deux trous permettant de visser et de dévisser l'écrou à l'aide d'une clé.
Le pendant 14, vissé sur le tube 13, 13', est bloqué à l'aide d'une vis de calage 19.
Par le fait que les coquilles 4 et 5 sont transparentes, les deux faces du mouvement de montre 1 sont visibles. Toutefois, certaines parties des coquilles pourraient être rendues opaques au moyen d'âne couche de vernis ou d'une peinture appliquées aux endroits choisis sur les faces extérieures des coquilles. C'est ainsi que la coquille 6 de l'exemple repré senté comporte une zone 6' couverte d'une couche de vernis opaque imitant l'aspect d'une lunette de glace, de manière que seuls appa raissent, à travers la coquille 6, le cadran et les autres organes indicateurs du mouvement de montre 1.
Le même effet pourrait être obtenu en couvrant de peintures décoratives certaines parties des coquilles, ce qui rehausserait le cachet artistique de la montre.
Les coquilles en cristal préservent le mou vement de l'aimantation; ces coquilles pour raient toutefois être fabriquées en une autre matière transparente, minérale oa non.
La coquille postérieure 5 pourrait éven tuellement être fabriquée en une matière non transparente, excepté le métal.
Timepiece. The object of the invention is a timepiece, a watch for example. In the drawing, 1 designates the watch movement to which the dial 2 is attached; 3 is the hour hand and 3 'is the minute hand. The movement is mounted, through the intermediary of a casing ring 8, in a case comprising two shells 5, 6 made of a transparent mineral substance, preferably of crystal. These shells, quite similar, are applied against each other and have on both sides a notch 7 which provides passage to the winding stem 10 also passing through the casing ring 8; they are assembled with one another by means of an exten sible metal circle 11 placed on the joint of the shells. To this end, the circle 11 has a solution of continuity 12 and, on either side of the latter, a segment of tube 13 respectively 13 'threaded on the outside.
The segments 13 and 13 'are spaced from one another as shown in FIG. 4, when the extendable circle 11 is adjusted on the shells 5 and 6, and then brought against each other, so that they form a tube delivering the passage to the winding stem. On this tube thus formed is screwed the pendant 14 carrying the bail 15. The pendant 14 is surmounted by the crown 16 fitted on a square of the winding stem 40 and fixed using a nut 17 screwed on a threaded tenon 18 of said winding stem. The nut 17 being embedded in the crown 16, has, on the outside, two holes for screwing and unscrewing the nut using a wrench.
The pendant 14, screwed onto the tube 13, 13 ', is locked using a set screw 19.
By the fact that the shells 4 and 5 are transparent, the two faces of the watch movement 1 are visible. However, some parts of the shells could be made opaque by means of a layer of varnish or a paint applied to the selected places on the outer faces of the shells. Thus the shell 6 of the example shown comprises a zone 6 'covered with a layer of opaque varnish imitating the appearance of a glass bezel, so that only the shell 6 appears through the shell 6. , the dial and the other watch movement indicators 1.
The same effect could be obtained by covering parts of the shells with decorative paints, which would enhance the artistic cachet of the watch.
The crystal shells preserve the movement of the magnetization; however, these shells could be made of another transparent material, which is not mineral.
The posterior shell 5 could possibly be made of a non-transparent material, except metal.
