Description

Shaped watch movement, especially for wristwatches, jewelry watches and other small timepieces. The object of the invention is a shaped watch movement, especially for my bracelets, jewelry watches and other small format timepieces. It is characterized in that the barrel meshes with two pinions, one of which, placed in the middle of the movement, controls the timer, while the other drives the pinion of the escapement wheel through the large medium wheel, pinion and small medium wheel and pinion and seconds wheel.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.

The oval movement shown comprises a barrel 1, the toothed drum of which drives the pinion 2 of the exhaust -wheel 3, by means of a usual three-axis cog comprising the pinion 4 and the wheel 5 of large average, the pinion 6 and the small medium wheel 7 as well as the pinion 8 and the seconds wheel 9. 10 designates the cock, 11 the balance and 12 the anchor bridge. The toothed drum of the barrel 1 engages, on the other hand, a pinion 13 placed in the center of the movement.

This pinion 13 corresponds in all points to pinion 4 of large average, but its axis does not carry a large average wheel, because its function consists only of dragging the minute hand and, through the intermediary of a timer. usual, the hour hand.

This timer control offers technical advantages which are especially important in small caliber movements. Referring to the drawing, we notice that it first allows all the finishing mo biles, that is to say the train of gins connecting the barrel to the escapement, to be arranged along the edge opposite to the edge crossed by the movement winding stem and that none of these moving parts passes neither above nor below the balance, so that there remains as much space as possible for the barrel, the components of the exhaust and the balance.

As a result, all of these components can be of relatively large dimensions, thus ensuring one of the essential conditions for obtaining good operating and adjustment results. In addition, it should be noted that the center of rotation of the seconds wheel 9 is located on a straight line passing through the winding stem and the common center of rotation of the hour hand and the .des hand. minutes. The movement may therefore also include a second hand, like the usual watch movements of round shape and normal size.
