Temperature controller for electrically heated rooms. The present invention relates to a temperature controller for electrically heated rooms.
On the accompanying drawing is an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention in a view with partial section Darge provides.
1 with the base plate is referred to, with which the console 2 is connected by means not designated in detail. The latter has a nut piece 3 into which one end of the tube 4, which is provided with a corresponding external thread, is screwed, which at one end carries the washer 4 ', with which one end of the hollow cylinder 5 is connected. This consists of a metal which tends to expand relatively strongly through heat. Inner half of the hollow cylinder 5, a second hollow cylinder 6 is arranged, which is selected from a significantly smaller diameter than the hollow cylinder 5 and which is connected by the spacer ring 5 'with the same. The cylinder 6 is made of a material that behaves little expands under the influence of heat.
Within the hollow cylinder 6, the hollow cylinder 7 is arranged, which is of a considerably smaller diameter than the hollow cylinder 6 and which is connected by the spacer ring 6 'to the latter. Like the hollow cylinder 5, the hollow cylinder 7 consists of a material that expands proportionally under the influence of heat. The Hohlzylin of 7 has at one end a bottom 8 with which one end of the. Rod 9 is connected. This is passed through the hollow cylinder 7 and the tube 4 and protrudes by a certain amount beyond the tube 4 and acts on the arm 9 ′ of the lever 10, which can be rotated about the bolt 12 provided on the support 11. The clamp 13 is connected to the support 11.
With the arm 9 ', one end of the screw 14 is connected, the other end of which is attached to the bracket 2. The coil spring 14 tends to press the arm 9 'against the rod 9. The arm 15 of the lever 10 is connected by the bolt 16 to one end of the arm 17, while its other end is connected by the bolt 18 to a two-armed lever 19, one end of which is rotatable about the bolt 20. With the two-armed lever 19, one end of the coil spring 21 is connected, the other end of which is connected to the He bel 22, one end of which is rotatable about the bolt 23 and on the side facing away from the spring 21 an iron plate 24 carries the is under the influence of the magnet 25.
One end of the bracket 26 is connected to your lever 22, the other end of which is penetrated by the adjusting screw 27, which acts on the free end of the lever 19. 28 denotes a contact rail corresponding to the adjusting screw 27, which is connected to the console 2 by the screw bolt 29. 30, 31 denote two screw bolts with which the electrical lines 32 are connected at one end and the other ends have springs 33, 33 'with contact blocks 34 directed towards one another.
The spring 33 is under the influence of the regulating screw 35, which by the block 36, which is made of elec tricity non-conductive material, for. B. made of horn, can be compared to your lever 22 is isolated.
The mode of operation of the temperature controller described is as follows: the temperature controller described is connected, for example, to an electrical heating apparatus through the lead wires 32 and is connected to an electrical power source (not shown) and the temperature in the room to be heated is as desired Reached height, so that the interruption of Stromzufüh tion is desired, the hollow cylinders 5 and 7 expand due to the heat and thereby pull the rod 9 in the direction of the arrow from the lever arm 9 'back. As a result, the lever 10 is moved under your A flow of the coil spring 14 in the direction of the double arrow, whereby the coil spring 21 is tensioned.
Since the attraction force of the magnet 25 is greater than the tension force of the helical spring 21, the contact springs 33, 33 'remain in conductive connection with each other through the contact blocks 34 until the lever 19 comes into contact with the regulating screw 27 and the lever 22 respectively. the iron plate 24 lifts off the magnet 25, so that the contact block 34 arranged on the spring 33 comes out of contact with the adjacent contact block arranged on the spring 33 '.
This will break the circuit to your electric heater. If the temperature in the room to be heated drops, the above-mentioned process is repeated in the opposite direction and the circuit is closed again.
If, for example, a fire breaks out in the room in which the temperature controller described is housed, the rod 9 goes back as a result of the expansion of the hollow cylinder 5 and 7 until the head of the regulating screw 27 on the contact rail 28 comes open, thereby the circuit to a signaling device which is connected to the contact pin 13, closed, so that an acoustic or optical signaling mechanism is operated.
By appropriately adjusting the regulating screw 27 and the pipe section 4, the temperature controller described can be set so that it comes into operation at the desired temperature.
Compared to known temperature regulators, the one described has the advantage that (J) prolonged sparking is avoided as a result of the sudden switching on and off, whereby the wear of the contact elements is reduced to a minimum and a waste of energy is prevented.
