Tub-douche. La présente invention se rapporte à un tub-douche. caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un tub muni d'un siège, au moins un réci pient destiné à être rempli de liquide et placé au-dessus du tub, de façon que le li quide puisse s'écouler sur la personne occu pant ce tub, et une monture supportant un rideau pour entourer cette personne. Cet ap pareil permettra. donc de prendre des douches dans une chambre ordinaire et sera très utile aux personnes ne possédant pas de salle de bains.
Comme la quantité d'eau nécessaire pour se laver en prenant une douche est très inférieure à celle pour se laver en prenant un bain, cette eau pourra être chauffée ra- pide,ment et sans grands frais.
Le dessin ci-annexé en représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution démon table.
La fig. 1 montre celle-ci, montée, en perspective; les fig. 2, 8, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 et 9 se rapportent à des détails; la fig. 10 la, re présente démontée, en coupe.
La forme d'exécution figurée comprend un tub 1 supportant une monture 2 et deux récipients à eau<B>3</B> montés sur un trépied 4. Le tout est disposé de façon que, lorsque l'ap pareil n'est pas employé, on peut le démon ter et serrer, dans le tub 1, la monture, les récipients, le trépied, ainsi que tous les ac cessoires.
Le tub 1 est de forme générale cylindri que, est muni d'iïn- goulot l' et est renforcé, à son bord supérieur, respectivement infé rieur, par un fer plat 1", respectivement 1"'. A l'intérieur du tub est disposé; pour le baigneur, un siège formé d'une planchette placée dans une monture métallique- dont les extrémités sont boulonnées au fer 1". En enlevant les boulons, on peut séparer le siège du tub; ce qui permettra d'utiliser ce dernier comme baquet ordinaire, pour la les sive par exemple.
La montuze 2 est constituée par trois montants formés chacun d'un tube 5 dans l'extrémité supérieure duquel s'engage une tige 6. Pour" que celle-ci ne pénètre-pas trop profondément, dans le tube, celui-ci a été serré, près de soli extrémité supérieure: par un outil, de façon à produire, par repoussage, dans son canal intérieur, deux petites sail lies 5' sur lesquelles appuie l'extrémité in- férieure de la tige 6.
A leur extrémité infé rieure, les tubes 5 sont engagés clans deux brides 7 fixées à l'iritéreur (lu tub; la bride inférieure, légèrement conique, arrête les tubes 5, à deux centimètres clic fond ap- proxim.ativeurent. Les tiges 6 s'engagent, par leur extrémité supérieure, dans des logements en U, 8', d'une couronne 8 qui.
repose, par son bord inférieur, sur des chevilles Hori zontales 6', fixées aux tiges 6. A cette cou ronne se pend un rideau, en toile traitée de façon à ne pas absorber l'eau; ce rideau est muni, au bas, de poids et descend jusqu'à. l'intérieur du tub; il permet à la personne se baignant de s'isoler clans le tub-douche et de se baigner sans mouiller alentour. Une partie de la couronne 8, à savoir l'arc 8", est pivotée sur le reste de celle-ci et a son extrémité libre, 9, recourbée à angle droit et présentant une rainure 10 (fig. 4).
Cette rainure est destinée à venir chevaucher sur l'extrémité 9', recourbée à angle droit égale ment, de la couronne, comme représenté an bas de la fig. 4, fermant ainsi ladite cou ronne.
Les deux récipients à eau 3 sont montés sur une planchette 7.1 dont la. face inférieure, représentée en fig. 5, comprend trois fers 12 munis chacun d'un tenon à bayonnette 13. Ce tenon (fia. 6) est destiné à s'engager dans une rainure à bayonnette 13' pratiquée à l'extrémité supérieure de chacun des trois tubes 14 du trépied.
Les tiges 15 s'engagent clans les extrémités inférieures des tubes 14 oii elles sont empêchées de pénétrer trop profondément grâce aux saillies 14' et avec lesquelles elles sont engagées au moyen d'un joint à bayonnette. Un boulon 16 (fig. 7) maintient entre eux les trois tubes 14. Du pourtour de chacun des récipients 3 part une tubulure reliée à un tuyau en eaoutchoue 17 aboutissant à l'une des tubulures 18 d'un tuyau métallique arqué 19 terminé par une pomme 20.
Chaque tuyau est serré sur la tubulure du récipient correspondant par un fil métallique 17' qui se prolonge, par quelques spires, le long du tuyau 17, pour empêcher que celui-ci ne se plie trop au voisinage de cette tubulure. Si l'on veut utiliser l'un seulement des récipients et, par conséquent, l'une seule des tubulures 18, celle qui n'est pas employée peut; être bouchée au moyen du bouchon 21.
Afin d'éviter l'emploi de robinets, qui sont très coûteux, chacun des tubes en caoutchouc 17 peut être obturé partiellement ou totale ment à l'aide d'un coulisseau ?? comprenant ,cieux yeux 23 dont chacun chevauche sur l'une des deux branches d'un coude 24 que présente le tuyau en caoutchouc.. Lors que l'on déplace le coulisseau ?2 sur les deux branches du coude de façon à le rapprocher du sommet de ceux-ci, on rapproche les pa rois du tube de caoutchouc de ce sommet et produit la fermeture totale ou partielle du tube. 25 représente une savonnette accrochée à.
la couronne, et 26 est une lanière dont la partie médiane est destinée à supporter deux 0 éponges, une de chaque côté. et dont les ex trémités sont munies de poignées; avec cette lanière, on peut se savonner le dos. Crràce au siège, le baigneur pourra s'asseoir dans le tub et le trépied supportant les récipients 3 n'aura pas besoin d'être aussi élevé que si le baigneur se tenait debout dans le tub.
La fig. 10 montre l'appareil démonté. A cet effet, on a placé, sous le siège du tub, les cieux récipients 3, puis on a -disposé ver ticalement, dans le tub et devant le siège, la planchette 11 de façon que son bord in férieur vienne en contact avec un arrêt 27 monté sur le fond du tub, tandis que son bord supérieur est maintenu contre la mon ture du siège par une targette 28 pouvant se visser sur une vis fixée dans cette mon ture. Les tubes 5 et 1.1, les tiges 6 et 15, préalablement démontés, et le tube arqué 19 sont placés les uns à côté des autres entre la planchette 11 et une barre transversale 29 à face intérieure en grains portée par celle-ci.
Cette barre est pivotée sur la plan chette en 30 et son autre extrémité s'engage avec un boulon 31 pivoté sur la planchette et portant une plaque-écrou 31'. La cou ronne se place dans le fond du tub sous les brides inférieures 7 et les autres accessoires, tubes en caoutchouc, savonnette, lanière, etc., se rangent dans un des récipients. Au goulot l' est fixé un crochet 32. Celui-ci est des tiné à s'accrocher au bord de l'un des réci pients 3. Ceci permet à une personne seule de vider en partie au moins le tub dans ce récipient une fois le bain fini.
Le tub@douche décrit permettra -de pren dre des fumigations, des bains d'air chaud, en mettant une lampe ou .réchaud dans le tub et en couvrant la monture par des couver tures (laissant ou non sortir la tête); il con viendra aussi par des schampoings. Si on désire des bains écossais, un troisième réci pient petit être facilement posé sur les deux antres: On peut aussi prévoir une cage ou une caisse pour y ranger le tub--douche dé monté.
Tub-shower. The embodiment shown comprises a tub 1 supporting a frame 2 and two water containers <B> 3 </B> mounted on a tripod 4. The whole is arranged so that, when the apparatus is not used, it can be dismantled and tightened, in the tube 1, the mount, the receptacles, the tripod, as well as all the accessories.
The tub 1 is generally cylindrical in shape, is provided with a neck 1 'and is reinforced at its upper edge, respectively lower, by a flat iron 1 ", respectively 1"'. Inside the tub is arranged; for the bather, a seat formed by a board placed in a metal frame - the ends of which are bolted to a 1 "iron. By removing the bolts, the seat can be separated from the tub; which will allow the latter to be used as a tub ordinary, for the sive for example.
The montuze 2 is constituted by three uprights each formed of a tube 5 in the upper end of which engages a rod 6. The two water containers 3 are mounted on a board 7.1, the. lower face, shown in fig. 5, comprises three irons 12 each provided with a bayonet tenon 13. This tenon (fia. 6) is intended to engage in a bayonet groove 13 'made at the upper end of each of the three tubes 14 of the tripod .
The rods 15 engage the lower ends of the tubes 14 where they are prevented from penetrating too deeply by the protrusions 14 'and with which they are engaged by means of a bayonet joint. A bolt 16 (fig. 7) maintains the three tubes 14 between them. From the periphery of each of the receptacles 3 there is a tube connected to a rubber pipe 17 leading to one of the tubes 18 of an arched metal pipe 19 terminated by an apple 20.
Each pipe is clamped to the tubing of the corresponding container by a metal wire 17 'which extends, by a few turns, along the pipe 17, to prevent the latter from bending too much in the vicinity of this tubing. If it is desired to use only one of the receptacles and, consequently, only one of the tubes 18, the one which is not used can; be sealed with the stopper 21.
In order to avoid the use of taps, which are very expensive, each of the rubber tubes 17 can be partially or completely closed using a slide ?? comprising, heavens eyes 23 each of which overlaps on one of the two branches of an elbow 24 presented by the rubber hose. Fig. 10 shows the device disassembled. For this purpose, the receptacles 3 were placed under the seat of the tub, then the board 11 was placed vertically in the tub and in front of the seat so that its lower edge came into contact with a stop 27 mounted on the bottom of the tub, while its upper edge is held against the frame of the seat by a bolt 28 which can be screwed on a screw fixed in this frame. The tubes 5 and 1.1, the rods 6 and 15, previously dismantled, and the arcuate tube 19 are placed next to each other between the board 11 and a transverse bar 29 with an interior grain face carried by the latter.
This bar is pivoted on the chette plane at 30 and its other end engages with a bolt 31 pivoted on the board and carrying a nut plate 31 '. The crown is placed in the bottom of the tub under the lower flanges 7 and the other accessories, rubber tubes, soap, strap, etc., are stored in one of the containers. A hook 32 is attached to the neck. This hook 32 is attached to the edge of one of the receptacles 3. This allows a single person to empty at least part of the tub into this receptacle once. the finished bath.
The tub @ shower described will make it possible to take fumigations, hot air baths, by placing a lamp or stove in the tub and by covering the frame with covers (leaving the head out or not); it will also come by schampoings. If you want Scottish baths, a third small container can be easily placed on the two others: You can also provide a cage or a box to store the disassembled tub - shower.
