Watch movement. The object of the invention is a watch movement, for example for jewelry watches and other watches of very small dimensions. It is characterized in that the large 'medium wheel is disposed above the barrel and due to the axis ide this wheel freely passes through the barrel ar ber, in an axial bore of the latter, the large medium pinion being controlled by a pinion meshing with the teeth of the barrel, via at least one reference.
The purpose of this arrangement is to reduce as much as possible the size of the gear train, in the plane of the movement, so that relatively large mobiles can be associated with a small caliber.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows it in plan; Fig. 2 is a section taken along line A-B-C of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 shows a cut along the shaft of the barrel.
Le.tambour 1 @du barrel is housed between plate 2 and a bridge 3; it is mounted on a shaft 4, the pivots of which are adjusted in the plate 2, respectively the bridge 3. This shaft is drilled from start to finish along its axis and bears on a square, the barrel ratchet 5. In the bore: the shaft 4 is freely adjusted to the tubular axis 6 of the wheel 7 of large 'average comprising a pinion 8. The pivots of the axis 6 are adjusted, one, in the. plate 2 and the other in a bridge 9.
The wheel 7 and its large pinion are therefore arranged above the barrel, between bridges 3 and 9; the wheel 7 controls the pinion 10 of the escape wheel 11, via the usual cog comprising the pinion 12 and the small medium wheel 13, the pinion 14 and the field wheel 15. The pivots ide .ces three mobiles 12-13, 14-15 and 10-11 are adjusted -in the plate 2 respectively in the bridge 9. The pinion 8 of the 'large' medium wheel is controlled by the drum 1 of the barrel, by the intermediary of a pinion 16 meshing with the teeth of this drum, and two references 17, 18 mounted on the bridge 3.
The number of -these references may differ from the example shown in the drawing. The pinion 16 passes through an opening 20 made in the bridge 3, while its pivots are adjusted one in the plate 2 and the other in the bridge 9. In the tubular axis 6 is frictionally adjusted fat the peg 21, on which is driven the. roadway 22 which controls the movement timer.
If the hour and minute hands are placed in the middle of the watch, the track 22 will control the usual timer, by means of at least one reference.
