Description
Ventilhahn.
Valve cock. The subject of the invention is a valve tap, the valve body of which in the closed position is influenced in a self-sealing manner by the liquid pressure. According to the invention, the valve spindle is adjustable by means of its inner end provided thread in the straw housing and penetrates a body serving as a valve seat, which sits with an annular flange in the cock housing and on the other hand has a stop on a removable insert in the cock housing.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated, namely in Fig. 1 in a longitudinal section, while Fig. 2 shows a cross section according to A-B of FIG.
It denotes 1 the tap housing, 2 the inlet connection and 3 the outlet connection. 4 is the valve spindle, which has a removable handle fi and is adjustably mounted by means of the thread 6 provided at its inner end in part 7 of the tap housing. is. The part 7 has three channels 8 for the passage of the liquid.
The spindle 4 has a plate 9 forming the valve body with a sealing washer 10 which is fixed to the plate by a clamp. 11 is the body serving as a valve seat, which has four slots 12 in the jacket wall for the passage of the liquid and is seated on an inner protrusion of the housing 1 by means of an annular flange 13. On the other hand, the body 11 has a stop on an insert 14 screwed into the housing. At 16 a screwed onto the housing cap is designated and at 16 a stuffing box received by this for the valve spindle.
The pressure of the liquid flowing in through the nozzle 2 influences the valve body 9, 10 in the closed position in the sense of self-sealing. The thread 6 of the valve spindle 4 has such a pitch that half a revolution of the valve spindle is sufficient to open the valve completely.
The valve cock explained is characterized by its simple design and by the fact that the body 11 serving as a valve seat, for example, for regrinding the seat surface for the valve body, is easy, i. H. can easily be removed from the top of your faucet housing.
