Description
Self-closing hose connection. The subject of the present invention is an automatically closing hose connection for connecting water, compressed air, gas or steam hoses to a connection point. The advantages of this optical tube connection are that it is extremely simple and practical to use, since when a pull occurs on the tube itself, a firmer connection and a better seal are produced.
There is also an injury to the hose, as is the case with other connections, e.g. B. by means of screwing or lever pressure or by simply fastening by means of wire is very common, excluded.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject of the invention is introduced in an exemplary embodiment for illustration, namely: FIG. 1 is a view, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal section.
The hose connection shown has a mouthpiece which is provided at one end with a double cone and at the other end with a thread, furthermore a conically widening sleeve b, the annular inner flange c of which does not go over the cone of the mouthpiece a and which has one such has a diameter that it presses the tube g, which is attached to the double cone, against the center of the cone of the mouthpiece when it is pushed forward. The sleeve b is provided with grooves d on the outside for better handling.
The spring e, which is located between the adjusting ring t screwed onto the thread of the mouthpiece and the inner flange c of the bushing b, presses the latter constantly against the hose pulled over the double cone of the mouthpiece a, so that a paint becomes , the connection is excluded, even in companies where .the connection is exposed to constant shocks.
The hose is connected to the mouthpiece very quickly and easily by pushing the end of the hose over the double cone of the mouthpiece a with the bushing b pulled back and then releasing the bushing, whereupon it automatically presses the hose against the cone. A connection can also be made by screwing two mouthpieces together. one hose to another and thus establish a good connection between two hoses.
Likewise, the tube connection forming the subject of the invention can be used at the end of the tube to accommodate a jet tube or atomizer.
