Abstract

La présente invention concerne un meuble convertible (1), qui comprend : - une première partie de meuble (2a) comprenant un cadre (11a) avec des supports d'extrémité (12a, 12b) et sur lequel est soutenu un lit (3a) et une partie de table (4a) ; - une deuxième partie de meuble (2b) comprenant un cadre (11b) avec des supports d'extrémité (12a, 12b) et sur celui-ci est soutenu un lit (3b) et une partie de table (4b) ; - des moyens de pivotement, tels que des charnières (5a, 5a') et des ressorts à gaz (5b) entre les parties de meuble, agencés pour guider leur déplacement entre au moins une position de table et une position de lit ; - un verrou de table pouvant être ouvert (6) avec des premier et deuxième éléments de verrouillage (6a, 6b) agencés pour fixer les parties de meuble dans la position de table, et lorsqu'il est ouvert, permettant le mouvement des parties de meuble vers la position de lit. Le verrou de table est actionné avec un arbre allongé (6c) qui est soutenu sur la première ou la deuxième partie de meuble (2a, 2b). Une première extrémité (9a) de l'arbre est raccordée au premier et/ou au deuxième élément de verrouillage (6a, 6b). L'arbre s'étend depuis cet emplacement au-delà du premier ou deuxième lit (3a, 3b) et vers un deuxième bord (8a, 8b) de la partie de table (4a, 4b). À cet emplacement, la deuxième extrémité (9b) de l'arbre allongé (6c) est agencée pour être mise en prise manuellement par un utilisateur situé sur le deuxième bord (8a, 8b). L'arbre est adapté pour être déplacé dans la direction du plan de la première ou de la deuxième partie de table (4a, 4b).
