Abstract

Un dispositif destiné à attirer, piéger ou neutraliser des insectes comprend un mécanisme dimpulseur agencé pour fournir un flux sortant dair hors du dispositif et vers latmosphère et pour attirer, dans le dispositif et à partir de latmosphère, un flux entrant dair, à contre-courant du flux sortant, lequel, à lextérieur du dispositif, est essentiellement situé à lintérieur du flux entrant, créant un vide. Le dispositif se tient en position verticale pour positionner le dispositif de manière que les orifices dévacuation soient dirigés vers le bas à une zone inférieure du dispositif. La zone supérieure du dispositif comporte une plaque despacement sous laquelle se trouve une plaque dentrée supérieure criblée dadmission comportant une zone criblée ouverte avec un plateau de dépôt dappât attractif pour les insectes et une chambre de confinement inférieure avec un plancher criblé qui sert à piéger et à retenir les insectes appâtés. Une ouverture dorifice à clapet antiretour à ressort, situé entre les chambres susmentionnées, fonctionne de concert avec la marche et larrêt du flux entrant dun aspirateur. Le vide du flux entrant est créé par un impulseur entraîné par un moteur alimenté par batterie combiné à une minuterie dactivation. Les orifices du flux de sortie sont situés sur la paroi latérale du dispositif sous limpulseur.
