Abstract
Disclosed is an abrasion-resistant steel sheet which is suitable for a member that contacts with dirt such as a power shovel and has excellent processability in bending. Also disclosed is a method for producing the steel sheet. Specifically disclosed is a steel sheet which comprises the following components (by mass): C: 0.05 to 0.35%, Si: 0.05-1.0%, Mn: 0.1 to 2.0%, Ti: 0.1 to 1.2% and Al: 0.1% or less, further comprises at least one member selected from 0.1 to 1.0% of Cu, 0.1 to 2.0% of Ni, 0.1 to 1.0% of Cr, 0.05 to 1.0% of Mo, 0.05 to 1.0% of W and 0.0003 to 0.0030% of B (by mass), has a DI* value represented by the formula below of less than 60, and optionally comprises one or two members selected from 0.005 to 1.0% of Nb and 0.005 to 1.0% of V (by mass), with the remainder being Fe and inevitable impurities: DI* = 33.85x(0.1xC*)0.5x(0.7xSi+1)x(3.33xMn+1)x (0.35xCu+1)x(0.36xNi+1)x(2.16xCr+1)x(3xMo*+1)x(1.5xW*+1) (1) [wherein C* = C-1/4x(Ti-48/14N); Mo* = Mox(1-0.5x(Ti-48/14N)); and W* = Wx(1-0.5x(Ti-48/14N))].
Claims (6)
1. An abrasion resistant steel comprising, on a percent by mass basis, 0.05% to 0.35% of C, 0.05% to 1.0% of Si, 0.1%
to 2.0% of Mn, 0.1% to 1.2% of Ti, 0.1% or less of Al, at least one element of 0.1% to 1.0% of Cu, 0.1% to 2.0% of Ni, 0.1% to 1.0% of Cr, 0.05% to 1.0% of Mo, 0.05% to 1.0% of W, and 0.0003% to 0.0030% of B, and the remainder including Fe and incidental impurities, where DI* represented by Formula (1) is less than 60.
DI* = 33.85 x (0.1 x C*)0.5 x(0.7 x Si +1) x (3.33 x Mn + 1) x (0.35 x Cu + 1) x(0.36 x Ni + 1) x (2.16 x Cr + 1) x (3 x Mo* + 1) x (1.5 x W* + 1) (1) where C* = C - 1/4 x (Ti - 48/14N), Mo* = Mo x (1 - 0.5 x (Ti - 48/14N)), W* = W x (1 - 0.5 x (Ti - 48/14N)), and C, Si, Mn, Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo, W, Ti, and N represent contents (percent by mass).
to 2.0% of Mn, 0.1% to 1.2% of Ti, 0.1% or less of Al, at least one element of 0.1% to 1.0% of Cu, 0.1% to 2.0% of Ni, 0.1% to 1.0% of Cr, 0.05% to 1.0% of Mo, 0.05% to 1.0% of W, and 0.0003% to 0.0030% of B, and the remainder including Fe and incidental impurities, where DI* represented by Formula (1) is less than 60.
DI* = 33.85 x (0.1 x C*)0.5 x(0.7 x Si +1) x (3.33 x Mn + 1) x (0.35 x Cu + 1) x(0.36 x Ni + 1) x (2.16 x Cr + 1) x (3 x Mo* + 1) x (1.5 x W* + 1) (1) where C* = C - 1/4 x (Ti - 48/14N), Mo* = Mo x (1 - 0.5 x (Ti - 48/14N)), W* = W x (1 - 0.5 x (Ti - 48/14N)), and C, Si, Mn, Cu, Ni, Cr, Mo, W, Ti, and N represent contents (percent by mass).
2. The abrasion resistant steel according to Claim 1, further comprising at least one element of 0.005% to 1.0% of Nb and 0.005% to 1.0% of V on a percent by mass basis.
3. The abrasion resistant steel according to Claim 1 or Claim 2, wherein a microstructure of base metal comprises a ferrite and pearlite phase as a base phase, and a hard phase is dispersed in the base phase.
4. The abrasion resistant steel according to Claim 3, wherein the dispersion density of the hard phase is 400 particles/mm2 or more.
. A method for producing an abrasion resistant steel, the method comprising the steps of hot rolling a steel slab having the composition according to Claim 1 or Claim 2 and conducting cooling to 400°er at a cooling rate of 2°ess after hot rolling.
6. The method for producing an abrasion resistant steel excellent in formability, according to Claim 5, wherein the hot rolling reduction rate at 920° lower is specified to be 30% or more and the rolling finishing temperature is specified to be 900°C or lower.
