Description
= brevet canadien n 2.190.024 au nom de ROYAL MAT;
= brevet canadien n 2.313.921 au nom de SOLENO TEXTILES;
SUPPORT MEMBRANE FOR FLOORS, CEILINGS AND
RESIDENTIAL WALLS
The subject of the present invention is a support membrane designed to be disposed between a cover applicable on a carrier surface.
More specifically, the subject of the present invention is a membrane of installable support under any type of floors, such as wood floors, floating floors, engineered floors or floors ceramic, or under concrete floor screeds. This same membrane can also be used in the composition of ceilings or the composition of residential walls.
There are already many membranes intended to be used for building floors or ceilings to obtain good insulation thermal and / or acoustic. As non-limiting examples, one can in particular mention those described in the following documents.
= Canadian Patent No. 2,190,024 in the name of ROYAL MAT;
= Canadian Patent No. 2,313,921 in the name of SOLENO TEXTILES;
= Canadian Patent Application No. 2,514,954 in the name of ROYAL MAT; and = Canadian Patent Application No. 2,586,524 in the name of SOPREMA.
The subject of the present invention is an improvement made to this type of support membrane, in particular to improve the transmission by radiance of heat in the room where the wall, ceiling or floor on which the membrane has been installed and / or with a view to ensuring defined pause of floor much more efficient thanks to a anchoring membrane which reduces the tension effect that can cause the floor finish such as glued floor, ceramic or stone natural.
2 The subject of the present invention is therefore a support membrane designed for be placed between a covering applicable on a bearing surface, this support membrane comprising:
a base layer with a thickness of between 1 and 8 mm, this base layer being made of fibers and designed to be placed on the carrier surface to absorb sound waves and smooth out irregularities of the bearing surface; and a vapor barrier membrane with a thickness of between 0.005 and 6mm glued to the base layer with an adhesive.
According to a first aspect of the invention, this support membrane is characterized in that it also comprises:
an anchoring membrane with a thickness of between 1 and 6 mm, said anchoring membrane being made of fibers and being bonded with another adhesive on the vapor barrier membrane opposite the base layer, this anchoring membrane being designed to receive the covering and reduce the effect of tension that can cause the recovery.
According to a second aspect of the invention, the support membrane previously described is characterized in that fibers coated with a layer of metal are incorporated in the base layer to thereby give said layer of base a radiant effect.
Of course, the two features mentioned above can be present in the same membrane.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention applicable to both aspects of the invention described above, at least one of the adhesives used for paste the base layer to the vapor barrier membrane and the membrane vapor barrier to the anchoring membrane, comprises metallized radiating particles which are incorporated.
The invention and its various advantages will be better understood on reading the non-limiting description above made with reference to the accompanying drawing in which Figure 1 is a diagram illustrating an embodiment preferential incorporating all the features mentioned above, described as alternatives and preferential.
As previously mentioned, the support membrane according to the invention includes a base layer numbered 1 in the accompanying drawing, which is designed to be placed on the carrier surface to absorb the sound waves and flatten the irregularities of said carrier surface. This base layer 1 is preferably made of needled fibers and / or not woven needles, that is to say made of flexible materials compounds synthetic and natural short fibers of the polymer and / or Natural like cotton, jute, flax, hemp and others. This base layer has a thickness from 1 to 8mm and a weight which is preferably 50 and 2000 grams per square meter.
According to one of the specific features of the invention as claimed metal-coated fibers 2 are incorporated in the layer of base to thereby give said base layer 1 a radiant effect. These fibers are preferably ultrafibres of polymers and / or natural coatings a layer of metallized aluminum reflecting the energy emitted by radiance. These fibers 2 are incorporated in the base layer 1 at a percentage of 1 to 100%
according to the desired thermal performance.
The support membrane according to the invention also comprises a membrane vapor barrier 4 having a thickness between 0.005 and 6mm, which is glued within the base layer 1 with an adhesive 3.
Comme on pourra le comprendre - la couche de base 1 est destinée à obtenir un effet acoustique en absorbant les ondes sonores tout en aplanissant les irrégularités de la surface porteuse tel que le mur ou plancher sur lequel elle est installée;
The adhesive 3 used to stick the vapor barrier membrane 4 to the base layer is based on water, polymer and / or polyurethane. At this adhesive 3 can metallized radiating particles to be incorporated in order to obtain a effect radiant. These particles are preferably aluminum nanoparticles. This radiant effect can be used with or without the presence of radiant fibers 2.
Preferably, the vapor barrier membrane 4 is made of polypropylene or a optionally metallized polyester to give it a radiant effect. This is However, it is not essential if the base layer 1 contains the fibers coated with metal and / or if the adhesive used for its attachment is as described above.
above.
According to another specific characteristic of the invention as claimed, the support membrane may advantageously also include a anchoring membrane 6 having a thickness of between 1 and 6 mm. This Anchoring membrane 6 is made of fiber and is glued with another adhesive 5 at even the vapor barrier membrane 4 opposite the base layer 1. This Anchoring membrane 6 is designed to receive the cover and reduce the effect of tension that can cause the recovery.
This anchoring membrane 6 may be needled and / or not needled. She can also be woven or micro-perforated. It can be made of polymer or all other natural fibers.
The adhesive 5 used for fixing it to the vapor membrane 4 is similar to that described previously. It can therefore be made with water, polymer or polyurethane and incorporated if need be particles metallic radiating.
As we can understand the base layer 1 is intended to obtain an acoustic effect in absorbing sound waves while smoothing the irregularities of the area carrier such as the wall or floor on which it is installed;
the radiating fibers 2 which are arranged inside the layer of its purpose is to radiate heat to the room where find the wall, ceiling or floor in which the membrane is installed;
5 - la membrane par vapeur 4 a pour objet d'assurer une protection notamment pour un assemblage ou un plancher;
De par sa structure, cette membrane de support selon l'invention a également l'avantage d'être universelle. Elle peut en effet être utilisée aussi bien pour le 5 - the vapor membrane 4 is intended to provide protection especially for an assembly or a floor;
- The anchoring membrane 6 is intended to ensure a pause of the finished floor a glued floor, ceramic or natural stone. This anchoring membrane 6 is intended to reduce the effect of stress exerted by the finished floors, which can be sometimes huge.
The adhesive layers 3 and 5 serve, of course, to bond the base layer, -a vapor membrane and the anchoring membrane by simple rolling.
When the adhesives 3 and 5 incorporate metal particles, they are playing also a role of optimizing the radiant effect.
As previously mentioned, an antibacterial agent can be incorporated to the fibers of the base layer 1 to obtain an ecological effect. In this Indeed, it is possible to use, for example, a silver salt at a concentration level of the order of 5% to 30%. This salt is known to release silver ions that penetrate in the cell walls of microbes and destroy them but any other treatment acting in this sense may be considered.
Because of its structure, the support membrane according to the invention has the advantage of create an air space once the floor of wood, ceramic or any other type of floor or other element, is applied on a floor, ceiling or wall. By providing such a space, the support membrane incorporating radiating fibers and / or radiant adhesives, is intended to optimize the Radiance.
Because of its structure, this support membrane according to the invention also the advantage of being universal. It can indeed be used as well for the
une couche de base 1 faite de fibres de polyester et polyester radiantes ayant une épaisseur de 2,6mm et un poids de 250 grammes au mètre carré;
un adhésif 2 de polyamide;
une membrane pare-vapeur 3 en polyester d'une épaisseur 0.0005 ;
6 floor in pause glued or in floating pause as well as for the installation of ceramic. It can also be used under concrete screeds or in the ceiling or wall composition.
Example A membrane according to the invention as described according to FIG.
manufactured and experienced. The membrane thus manufactured had a thickness 2.6 mm and a weight of 250 grams per square meter. Its basic structure was this:
a base layer 1 made of radiating polyester and polyester fibers having a thickness of 2.6mm and a weight of 250 grams per meter square;
a polyamide adhesive 2;
