Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la production d'acides gras polyinsaturés cis-, C20- et C22- dans la graine d'une plante transgénique. Le procédé comprend l'ajout d'une molécule d'acide nucléique codant une A6-désaturase, A8-désaturase ou une A6-élongase, A5-désaturase, A5-élongase, A4-désaturase, la molécule d'acide nucléique codant la A6-désaturase, une molécule d'acide nucléique codant pour une séquence d'acides aminés comprenant une séquence possédant un rapport de 60 % d'identité avec la séquence d'acides aminés dans SEQ ID NO: 90. L'invention concerne également des molécules d'acide nucléique recombinant comprenant les séquences d'acides nucléiques et des plantes transgéniques qui comprennent lesdites molécules d'acide nucléique recombinant. Une autre partie de l'invention concerne des huiles, des lipides et/ou des acides gras produits par le procédé selon l'invention et concerne leur utilisation.
