Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un copolymère de poly(.alpha.-oléfine), qui consiste à polymériser au moins une .alpha.-oléfine, de préférence 1-décène, et au moins une oléfine volumineuse, de préférence norbornène, en présence d'hydrogène et une quantité efficace au niveau catalytique d'un catalyseur comprenant le produit obtenu par combinaison d'un procatalyseur métallocène avec un cocatalyseur, ce procatalyseur métallocène étant au moins un composé représenté par la formule générale (Cp?1¿R?1¿¿m?)R?3¿(Cp?2¿R?2¿¿p?)MX¿q?, dans laquelle Cp?1¿ du ligand (Cp?1¿R?1¿¿m?) et Cp?2¿ du ligand (Cp?2¿R?2¿¿p?) représentent des anneaux cyclopentadiényles identiques ou différents, R?1¿ et R?2¿ représentent chacun, indépendamment, hydrogène ou un organometalloïde à substitution hydrobarbyle, halocarbyle, hétérocarbyle, hydrocarbyle ou un groupe organometalloïde à substitution halocarbyle contenant jusqu'à 20 atomes de carbone, m vaut de 0 à 5, p vaut de 0 à 5 et deux substituants de R?1¿ et/ou R?2¿ sur des atomes de carbone adjacents de l'anneau cyclopentadiényle associé peuvent être unis pour former un anneau contenant de 4 à environ 20 atomes de carbone, R?3¿ représente un groupe de pontage formant un pont entre Cp?1¿ et Cp?2¿, M représente un métal de transition possédant une valence comprise entre 3 et 6, chaque X représente un ligand non cyclopentadiényle et représente, indépendamment, halogène ou un organométalloïde à substitution hydrocarbyle, oxyhydrocarbyle, halocarbyle, hydrocarbyle, un organométalloïde à substitution oxyhydrocarbyle ou un groupe organométalloïde à substitution halocarbyle contenant jusqu'à environ 20 atomes de carbone, et q représente la valence de M moins 2, le cocatalyseur étant un aluminoxane, le ligand (Cp?1¿R?1¿¿m?) étant différent du ligand (Cp?2¿R?2¿¿p?) et le groupe de pontage R?3¿ contenant au moins deux groupes volumineux.
