Abstract

La présente invention concerne des matériaux de frottement contenant au moins un matériau fluoropolymère destinés à être utilisés dans les garnitures de frottement pour des applications telles que les garnitures de freins à disque. Ce matériau fluoropolymère peut être par exemple, du polytétrafluoroéthylène (PTFE), de l'éthylène-propylène fluoré(FEP), ou du fluorure de polyvinylidène (PVDF); le matériau fluoropolymère étant de préférence présent entre environ 0,1 et environ 5% en poids, sur la base du poids total de la matrice du matériau de frottement.
