Abstract

La présente invention concerne un élément de munition explosive à fragmentation comprenant : - une enveloppe 1 susceptible de générer des éclats ayant un axe de révolution 2, - un chargement explosif 3 enrobé par l'enveloppe 1, ayant le même axe de révolution 2, comportant un évidement 5 en forme de canal cylindrique dont les génératrices 6,7 sont parallèles à l'axe de révolution 2 du chargement 3, - un moyen unique d'amorçage périphérique et ponctuel du chargement 3. Un tel concept d'architecture permet d'obtenir, pour un chargement explosif donné, une vitesse des éclats nettement supérieure à celle obtenue selon les concepts connus.
