Abstract

L'invention concerne un pneumatique présentant un chemin de carcasse externe optimisé destiné à maximiser l'étendue de la contrainte de traction exercée sur la paroi latérale et le talon du pneumatique. L'invention concerne également des structures de renfort séparées se trouvant dans le talon et servant à ancrer la carcasse ou les carcasses dans le talon et à retenir le talon sur la jante de montage lorsque le pneu du véhicule en marche se dégonfle, ledit renfort d'ancrage facilitant également le maintien du profil de carcasse souhaité.
