Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés et des compositions utilisés pour lier des cellules souches hématopoïétiques. Les procédés de l'invention consistent généralement à utiliser un partenaire de liaison qui forme un complexe avec une structure à base de lactosamine syalylée présente sur la surface des cellules souches. La formation desdits complexes facilite, par exemple, l'immobilisation, la purification, l'identification et le ciblage de cellules souches hématopoïétiques. Lesdites compositions de l'invention comprennent généralement un partenaire de liaison qui peut être libre, fixé à un matériau de support ou lié à un agent marqueur ou thérapeutique.
