Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil de contrôle de la santé pour malade ambulatoire, qui inclut un boîtier portatif muni d'au moins un dispositif d'entrée de données physiologiques pour recueillir des données physiologiques du patient, un circuit de repérage de position pour déterminer des informations relatives à l'emplacement géographique du patient, un circuit de communication par téléphone cellulaire pour communiquer à un poste central de contrôle de la santé les données physiologiques et les informations relatives à l'emplacement géographique. L'appareil inclut également un circuit de communication vocale au moyen duquel le patient communique oralement avec un clinicien situé au poste central de contrôle de la santé, un circuit de traitement du signal numérique pour traiter des signaux associés au dispositif d'entrée de données physiologiques, au circuit de repérage de position, au circuit de communication par téléphone cellulaire, ou au circuit de communication vocale. L'appareil inclut en outre un circuit de commande pour commander le circuit de traitement du signal numérique, le dispositif d'entrée de données physiologiques, le circuit de repérage de position, le circuit de communication par téléphone cellulaire, ou encore le circuit de communication vocale.
