Abstract
Métallocènes pontés, obtenus grâce à un procédé prometteur à l'échelle industrielle d'une usine. Une des étapes clés du procédé consiste à convertir un ligand déprotoné, renfermant du silicium, du germanium ou de l'étain, en métallocène. cette fin, une des versions de l'invention privilégie l'addition d'un produit d'addition de diamine et d'un tétrahalogénure d'un métal des Groupes IV, V ou VI à une solution ou à une suspension, formée à partir d'un ligand déprotoné, renfermant du silicium, du germanium ou de l'étain et d'un milieu organique liquide, de façon à obtenir un métallocène. Le procédé de l'invention consiste globalement à convertir directement des benzo-indanones en benzo-indanols qui, sans isolation, sont convertis en benzo-indènes. Par la suite, ces derniers sont pontés par déprotonation avec une base forte, comme le butyllithium, et on fait réagir le produit déprotoné résultant avec un réactif ponté approprié, contenant du silicium, du germanium ou de l'étain, comme le dichlorodiméthylsilane. Le produit ponté résultant est déprotoné à l'aide d'une forte base, comme le butyllithium, et on le fait réagir avec un réactif approprié, contenant un métal des Groupes IV, V ou VI, comme ZrCl4, de façon à obtenir un complexe d'un métal des Groupes IV, V ou VI avec pontage au silicium, au germanium ou à l'étain, comme le complexe zirconocène avec pont dihydrocarbylsilyle.
