Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour incorporer une poudre de talc dans une matière, en particulier matière thermoplastique. Ce procédé consiste (a) à mélanger la poudre de talc avec de l'eau et un polyéthylène glycol, un polypropylène glycol ou un copolymère de ces composés, (b) à presser le mélange à travers des filières et à le tronçonner de façon à obtenir des granulés de dimension moyenne supérieure à celle des grains de la poudre initiale, (c) à incorporer dans la matière le produit obtenu, (d) et à procéder à une action mécanique de dispersion de façon à désagréger les granulés et à libérer et répartir dans la masse les grains de la poudre initiale. L'invention permet d'incorporer des poudres de talc de faible granulométrie dans des matières notamment thermoplastiques, sans conduire aux difficultés pratiques d'incorporation rencontrées avec les poudres de faible granulométrie.
