Abstract

Poulie à la sortie d'un arbre moteur, utilisée dans une transmission à courroie à vitesse variable, dans laquelle des paires de masselottes dentées de forme généralement cylindriques prennent appui sur des crémaillères pour faire varier, sous l'effet d'une variation de la force centrifuge, le diamètre d'enroulement de cette poulie autour de laquelle est placée une courroie trapézoidale. L'utilisation de cette poulie permet d'obtenir notamment un réglage plus précis du diamètre, le maintien de la puissance du moteur à son maximum dans les conditions de surcharge sévère et une diminution du temps de reaction du système de variation du diambtre lors d'un changement brusque de surcharqe.
