Abstract

La présente invention vise un câble isolé comprenant un conducteur, une première couche isolante à base d'oxydes métalliques, formée autour du conducteur, et une seconde couche isolante à base d'oxydes métalliques auxquels on a mélangé des particules de céramique, formée autour de la première couche isolante. Ces couches isolantes peuvent être formées par transformation d'un précurseur d'un oxyde métallique en matière céramique au moyen d'une méthode sol-gel ou d'une méthode de décomposition thermique. La couche isolante comportant des particules céramiques se présente de préférence sous la forme d'une plaque mince. Ce type de câble isolé présente une grande flexibilité, une tension de rupture élevée, n'émet aucun gaz et conserve son isolant même sous hautes températures.
