Or, ce procédé
79 ~ 3 1, The invention relates to a latch for a cowlissant opening comprising a housing serving as housing and guide for a sliding hook bolt vertically and 3 an enantiomorphic strike relative to its median plane hori ~ ontal entering the b ~ i ~ ier for its positioning, elements 5 signaling being pr ~ seen to indicate the position of the bolt.
.
We know ~ Déj3, from document CA-A-963 505, a corresponding latch in the previous paragraph.
Any ~ ois, this known latch has several disadvantages and, between others, it cannot be used indif ~ erently on the right or on the left. In 10 indeed, if the latch is assembled beforehand for a given direction and if it is necessary to mount it on an opening in the opposite direction, you must disassemble the bolt to raise it in reverse. This operation requires time and may cause a risk of losing the latch parts. Plus, this-te operation is di ~ difficult to perform when it must be performed on a chan-15 tier.
Likewise, when the latch must be actuated using a lock on the outside of the sliding door, this known latch requires te the realization of two recesses in the bolt 3 for the purposes of reversibility lity.
In addition, if the latch has signal elements indicating the position of the bolt, it is necessary to reverse them. Therefore, these elements are self-adhesive to allow their inversion. Now, this process is very random.
Furthermore, the operating handle of the known latch bolt pr ~ sen-25 te by its shape a different grip F; cile.
The invention aims to remedy the known drawbacks and proposes in particular to design a latch for use and simple operation p li liates.
To this end, the invention relates to a latch for a sliding door 30 consisting of a housing serving as housing and guiding a hook bolt chet sliding vertically and 3 an enantiomorphic keeper compared to its horizontal median plane entering the case for its position ment, signaling elements being provided to indicate the position of the bolt, characterized in that:
35 - the bolt has two inverted hooks, - the keeper has an entry equal to the sum of the total height of the loses the height of the stroke, ~ Z7 ~ Ei7 ~ `~
- the keeper has two interpenetration positions distant from the their of the bolt stroke.
Given that it is no longer necessary to disassemble the bolt for its turning over in order to use the latch in the opposite direction, this 5 quet has a sliding boss in a light made in leboi`tier and whose length is identical to the sum of the length of the bos ~
wise and ia bolt stroke, the two end edges of the boss mismatching the bolt stroke.
According to a preferred embodiment, the boss comprises on 10 its external face a handle.
To facilitate the maneuvering of the bolt, this handle has a shrink ~~ cissement located on the side of the external face of the bolt.
Furthermore, the bolt has between each of its ends and the end edges of the boss a signaling element to indicate the 15 position of the bolt.
By these characteristics, we simplify the latch in the sense that the space free of light in the bolt bowl, allowing the key to be placed in the boss, alternately constitutes a viewing window behind which alternately appears the signaling element according to 20 the position of the bolt.
The invention will be better understood by referring to the following description made by way of nonlimiting example and in the attached drawing in which:
- Figure 1 is an elevational view of the latch according to the invention whose bolt is engaged in the strike, 25 - Figure 2 is a sectional view along section line II-II of Figure 1 of the latch mounted on a sliding leaf We refer to the two figures. The latch 1 comprises a box ~ ier 2 ap-bent against the internal face 3 of a sliding leaf 4. The housing 2 comprises carries a base 5 whose length is determined, on the one hand, by The centers of the fixing holes 6, 7 and, on the other hand, by the space required to grip a handle 8 connected to said base 5 by two legs 9, 10. Advantageously, these legs 9, 10 have a certain one curvature to distance the handle 8 from the internal face 3 of the opening sliding 4 facilitating the grip of said handle 8.
At the location of the fixing holes 6, 7, the housing 2 comprises on its internal face 11 of the positioning sockets 12, 13 projecting by relation to this internal face. ~ es positioning sleeves 12, 13 engage-, ~ '' ~; ~ '79 ~ 3 gent in holes ~ 4, tS made. in the sliding book 4. These positioning sleeves 12, 13 are traversed by fastening elements tion 16, 17 whose head 18, 19 is embedded in a countersunk hole 20, 21 made s ~ in the outer face 22 of the housing 2.
According to a second embodiment, the latch 1 comprises a lock 23 placed on the outer side 24 of the sliding leaf 4. This lock 23 is engaged in a housing 25 of a handle 26 allowing to maneuver-vrer from the outside ~ sliding opening 4. This handle 26 comprises on its internal face 27 applied against the external face 28 of the opening sliding 4 of the tapped sockets 29, 30 projecting from this internal face 27 and engaged ~ eant in the orifices 14, 15 made ~ s in Sliding opening 4. The ends of the fixing elements 16, 17 are screwed into the threaded sockets 29, 30. In this case, in the sliding opening 4 an orifice 31 for the passage resp ~ ctivement 15 of the lock 23 and of the housing ~ S.
These different sockets 12, 1 3, 29, 30 bring significant advantages for one hand, easy positioning when installing the latch 1 and / or the external handle 26 and ~ on the other hand, an improvement of fi-fixing the latch 1 and the external handle 26 on the sliding leaf 4 20 as a result of the anchoring means formed by these sockets 12, 13, 29, 30 in the holes 14, 15 made in the sliding leaf 4 while protecting managing the fastening elements 16, 17 against the shearing.
We realize in the inner face 11 of the box ~ ier 2 a housing 32 in ! ''' which slides vertically a bolt 33 with hooks 34, 35. This housing 32 is delimited by two walls 36, 37 parallel to each other and parallel to the handle 8. These two walls 36, 37 project relative to the face rear of the base 5. According to the invention, this bolt 33 comprises two inverted hooks 34, 35 constituting one of the means making it possible to use read either latch 1 on the right or on the left. These inverted hooks 34, 35 have a rear face 38, 39 having a certain height hooking 40 and protrude. relative to the wall 36 in which there is made a light 41 to allow the vertical displacement of the bolt 33.
The length 42 of this. Light 41 corresponds to the height height 43 of the body of the bolt 33 and of the stroke 45 of the latter.
The bolt 33 counts) rte. a boss 46 sliding in a light 47 pra-ticked in the external face 22. of the bo ~ tier 2. The length 48 of this lumiè-re 47 is identical to the long'ur '49 of the boss 46 and the race 45 of the 36 ~ 3 p ~ ne 33. Therefore, we obtain a display light 50 is below t) bone 46 when the latch 1 is ~ in the unlocked position [as visible in Figure 2 ~, above the boss 46 when the latch 1 is in the locked position. Through this visual light station 50 appears ~ either one or the other of the signaling elements ~ 1, 52 and this depending on the position of the latch.
According to one embodiment, the signaling element 51, 52 can include an inscription to define the posi ~ ion of the latch.
According to another preferred embodiment, these elements of si-10 generalization 51, 52 are colored. Conventionally, the color is green when the latch is in the unlocked position and in red when it is in locked position. Thus, the signaling element 52, visible through the viewing light 50 located below the boss 46 of the bolt 33 is green and indicates that the latch 1 is in the locked position 1 5 lée.
These signaling elements 51, 52 are arranged between the ends 53, 54 of the bolt 33 and the end edges 55, 56 of the boss 46. Their holding is provided by a tongue 57, 58 passing through a slot 59, 60 made in each end 53, 54 of the bolt 33. The end edges 20 55, 56 of the boss 46 alternately abut against the edges end 95, 96 of the light 47, which limits the stroke 45 of the bolt 33.
For handling the bolt 33, the external face 61 is provided with the bolt 33 of an operating handle 62. To facilitate handling of this operating handle 62, this comprises a narrowing S3 25 located on the side of the external face 61 of the bolt 33.
When the latch 1 is provided with a lock 23, the bolt 33 comprises on its internal face 64 a lumen 65 of isosceles triangular shape of which _ The angle at the top 66 is located on the horizontal median plane 67 of the bolt 33. As a result, the bolt 33 has only one single light 65, 30 which also allows the reversibility of the latch 1. In this light 65 moves a control pin ~ 8 of an insert 69 making projection relative to edge 70 while edge 71 has a housing 72 in which the control pin 73 of the lock 23 is engaged.
For locking the sliding leaf, the bolt 33 cooperates with 35 a keeper 74 secured to the frame. Against this strike 74 comes up against the wall 36 of the housing 32 of the latch l. Thus, said keeper 74 penetrates inside the latch 1 and is partially covered by the base 5 of the ~ 2 ~ g ~ t3 ~ 5 -case 2.
Con ~ ormément to the invention, the keeper 74 has two positions 751 ~ 761 and 752 '762 distant from the value of the stroke 45 of p ~ ne 33. These interpenetration positioris 751 ~ 761 and 752 ~ 762 are 5 constituted by a projection 77 of the boltier 2 engaging alternately in two housings 78, 79, 80 "81 made in each end 82, 83 of strike plate 74. The gap 84 of these two housings 78, 79 or 80, 81 is equal to the stroke 45 of the bolt 33.
According to another embodiment, the boi ~ ier 2 has two projections 10 77, 85 engaging in the same housing 78, 81 or 79, 80 of the striker 74.
According to another embodiment, one of the projections 77 engages in One of the housings 79 while the other projection 85 engages in the other housing strike 81 to strike 74.
To guide the projections 77, 85 of the box ~ ier 2 of the latch 1, the housings 78, 79, 80, 81 have a flared entry 86, 87.
The keeper 74 has hooking faces 88, 89 cooperating with the arribre faces 38, 39 of the reversed hooks 34, 35 of the pene 33. The height attachment hook 90 corresponds to the attachment height of said hooks 20 reverse chets 34, 35. The distance 91 separating the two ends 92, 93 from the two hooking faces 88, 89 and constituting the entry of the keeper 74 corresponds to the sum of the height 94 of the bolt 33 and the value of its race 45.
Due to the possibility of the double positioning of the keeper 74, 25 the latter can be used interchangeably for a sliding leaf To the right or to the left.
Although the invention has been described in connection with one embodiment particular tion, it is understood that it is in no way limited thereto and that there can be various modifications of shapes, materials and 30 combinations of these various elements, without departing from the framework and of the spirit of the invention.
